Jansen picked up his third save of the season, allowing two hits and striking out two in a scoreless inning Sunday against the Nationals.

Jansen blew a save opportunity Tuesday against the Padres, but he's bounced back with two scoreless appearances since. After two blown saves early in the season, the 30-year-old closer will look to put his struggles behind him and build off his recent performance after slamming the door Sunday. He currently owns a 6.23 ERA and 1.62 WHIP across 8.2 innings.

Hader earned the save Sunday, going two innings and striking out three while allowing an unearned run against the Marlins.

Hader seems to be the preferred end-game option for manager Craig Counsell, as the lefty has been responsible for three of the club's last four saves with regular closer Corey Knebel (hamstring) sidelined. He may not be deployed in the same way as a traditional closer, but either way Hader remains a valuable asset with a 29:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings to go along with a minuscule 1.23 ERA.

Pivetta allowed two runs on five hits and two walks across 6.1 innings in Sunday's no-decision during the Phillies' eventual win over the Pirates. He struck out seven.

Pivetta threw an impressive 70 percent of his pitches for strikes, inducing 15 swinging strikes as he reached seven punchouts for the third time this year. His only major mistake came in the fifth inning, when Elias Diaz hit a two-run home run to center. Pivetta pitched well enough to win, but neither team found another run until Aaron Altherr's game-winning hit in the 11th inning. Though he's still won just once, the early returns have been excellent for Pivetta, who will take a 2.57 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP into his next scheduled outing against the Braves.

Adams was recalled form Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

With Anthony Rendon landing on the disabled list, the Nationals opted to use their open roster spot to add some depth to their bullpen. Adams has appeared in five games (5.1 innings) with Syracuse, where he's yet to allow a run and has struck out six batters. However, his control has been subpar as he's given up four walks.

Stewart won't be summoned from Triple-A Oklahoma City to make a spot start against the Nationals after the Dodgers announced Walker Buehler as Monday's starter.

Stewart has been a standout performer for the Triple-A club in each of the past two seasons and is off to another strong start in 2018, but he doesn't possess the long-term upside of Buehler, a 23-year-old righty with a mid-to-high-90s fastball and a plus curveball. Though Buehler will take the hill Monday, he'll likely need a quality showing to earn another turn at Stewart's expense the next time a sixth starter is needed at some point between April 27 and May 1, when the Dodgers will play six games in a five-game span.

The Rockies have reversed Hoffman's (shoulder) activation from the 10-day disabled list and his subsequent optioning to Triple-A Albuquerque, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Following Sunday's unique roster move, Hoffman will now remain on the 10-day disabled list and will continue making rehab starts with Triple-A Albuquerque. It's unclear how many more rehab appearances he'll need before returning from the DL.

Brebbia was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.

Brebbia's promotion was made possible by Adam Wainwright's placement on the disabled list with right elbow inflammation. Brebbia has shuttled between Triple-A and the majors over the early going this season and will again occupy a spot in the Cardinals' bullpen.

De Los Santos is off to a strong start in his first taste of Triple-A ball for Lehigh Valley, The Athletic Philadelphia reports.

De Los Santos was acquired from the Padres in for Freddy Galvis back in December. In his first three Triple-A starts, he has a 1.98 ERA and a 1.63 FIP, striking out 36.1 percent of batters while walking 8.2 percent. In 150 innings for Double-A San Antonio last season, the young righty was good -- but not nearly this good, posting a 3.78 FIP with a 22.4 percent strikeout rate. The Phillies' analytics department made minor adjustments to De Los Santos' mechanics and pitch sequencing, which may have unlocked a new level of performance for the young righty. He wasn't in consideration for a rotation spot to begin the year, but if his hot start continues and he begins to look like something more than the back-end starter he projected to be coming into the season, he could make a push for big-league starts later in the season.

Suter (1-2) avoided the loss Saturday against the Marlins despite allowing five runs on eight hits -- including two home runs -- and a walk over five innings while striking out four.

The left-hander threw 56 of 87 pitches for strikes in the lackluster outing -- though the Brewers still won 6-5 -- and he has yet to complete six innings in any of his five starts so far this season, posting a 5.68 ERA and 19:6 K:BB through 25.1 innings. Suter will get a potentially tough matchup Friday on the road against the Cubs.

Biddle made his big-league debut Saturday, walking one in a scoreless ninth inning to get the win in a 4-3 victory over the Mets.

It's been a long, winding road to the majors for the 2010 first-round pick, but Biddle was rewarded for his perseverance when the Braves scored twice in the bottom of the ninth off Mets closer Jeurys Familia. Biddle seems to be taking well to his new bullpen role, posting a 2.57 ERA and 61:17 K:BB in 56 innings over the last two seasons in the minors, but the left-hander's role in the Atlanta bullpen likely won't afford him too many opportunities to generate fantasy value.
