Neris allowed four runs in just 0.2 innings Sunday, yielding two home runs, four hits and one strikeout in a 10-9 win over Milwaukee.

Jake Thompson would relieve Neris and clean up his mess to record a one-out save. After the awful performance Sunday, Neris' ERA has shot up to 6.00 on the season. Though he didn't enter this game with a save situation (it was 10-5 to start the bottom of the ninth), Neris, who also has three blown saves this year, could have hurt his chances to receive such opportunities in the near future. Seranthony Dominguez still looks like the best option for those.
