Hernandez (mouth) moved his rehab to Double-A Jacksonville on Sunday and tossed five innings of one-run ball in the club's 4-3 win over Pensacola.

Hernandez scattered three hits and a walk and struck out four in the 89-pitch outing, which was his third rehab start in the minors. Based on the heavy pitch count, it appears the Rule 5 pick is ready to come off the 10-day disabled list, though the Marlins may be inclined to keep him on the rehab assignment as long as possible since he won't have a key role waiting for him with the big club once activated.

The Giants optioned Law to Triple-A Sacramento prior to Sunday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers, MLB.com reports.

Law served as the 26th man for San Francisco in its doubleheader a day earlier, logging three innings in the first game of the twin bill and giving up six runs (five earned) on eight hits and one walk. The 27-year-old had a strong debut season with San Francisco in 2016 and looked like he would be a core contributor at the back of the bullpen for years to come, but his career has gone downhill ever since. In his 44 appearances with the big club dating back to the start of last season, Law has posted a 5.77 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 12.3 K-BB% across 43.2 innings.

Guzman (oblique) made his season debut at High-A Jupiter on Saturday, tossing four scoreless innings and striking out seven while working around three walks and two hits.

Per Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, Guzman's fastball sat in the 98-to-100 mile-per-hour range for most of the start, suggesting that he had no issues generating torque after battling the oblique injury for much of April. The 22-year-old Guzman, who was one of the key pieces acquired by Miami in the offseason trade that sent Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees, is already viewed as one of the top pitching prospects in the organization even though he's likely at least a year away from reaching the big leagues.

Peters is expected to be optioned to Triple-A New Orleans shortly after Dan Straily (forearm) is activated from the 10-day disabled list to make his season debut Monday against the Phillies, Craig Davis of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Peters turned in a serviceable start his last time out April 24 against the Dodgers, holding the opposition to one run on four hits and two walks over 5.1 innings, but it won't overshadow what has been a largely uninspiring body of work this season. Over his five starts, Peters has posted a 5.84 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 16:13 K:BB in 24.2 innings, numbers that don't offer much confidence in his ability to consistently deliver quality outings. Though he could be available in long relief for the Marlins over the next few days if he isn't optioned Monday, Peters seems likely to continue his development as a starter once he reports to New Orleans, where he'll be joined in the rotation by Trevor Richards, who also lost a starting role with the big club following Wei-Yin Chen's activation from the DL.

Miller (elbow) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday after enduring no complications while tossing 25 pitches of live batting practice Friday, Matt Kelly of MLB.com reports.

Miller seems to be chugging along nicely in his recovery from May 2017 Tommy John surgery, but he's still likely around two months away from coming off the 60-day disabled list. Though the Diamondbacks entered the regular season with five quality rotation options, Miller's eventual return will take on added importance after Taijuan Walker (elbow) underwent a season-ending Tommy John procedure of his own last week.

Biddle recorded five strikeouts over two hitless innings of relief in the Braves' 10-1 win over the Phillies on Sunday.

Biddle turned in quite the performance against the team that drafted him in the first round in 2010, with only one of the seven batters he faced on the afternoon reaching base. The lefty also made an impact at the dish, recording an RBI double in his first MLB at-bat in the top of the ninth. With Biddle having spun 6.1 scoreless innings over his first four appearances with Atlanta, it looks as though he could stick around in the big leagues longer than initially expected.

Stewart won't start Monday's game against the Diamondbacks and will instead be available out of the bullpen, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Shortly after recalling Stewart from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, the Dodgers listed the right-hander as the starter for Monday's series opener in Arizona, but manager Dave Roberts later reversed course and appointed long reliever Ross Stripling for the spot start. Since Stripling worked an inning in relief Saturday and has yet to cover from than two frames in any of his appearances this season, it's likely he'll face a restricted pitch count Monday, so Stewart could be called upon to cover multiple innings in relief as part of a bullpen game. With Rich Hill (finger) also in line to miss a fourth consecutive turn during the upcoming weekend series with the Padres in Monterrey, Mexico, both Stripling and Stewart could be in the mix for an additional spot start, though it's more likely that Walker Buehler will be recalled from High-A Rancho Cucamonga to serve as the Dodgers' 26th man and pick up a start.

Maton gave up a run on two hits and a walk in two-thirds of an inning Sunday against the Mets.

Maton began his 2018 campaign with nine consecutive scoreless outings prior to giving up his first run Sunday. The 25-year-old now owns a 0.90 ERA and a 10.8 K/9 over 10 innings. The top of the Padres' bullpen is set in stone, but Maton's strong start should keep him in the majors for the foreseeable future.

Rusin (ribs) completed a bullpen session Sunday and could be activated from the 10-day disabled list later this week, Glenn Sattell of MLB.com reports.

Rusin threw off flat ground a couple days prior to the bullpen session after first hitting the DL on April 23 with the right intercostal strain. The reliever is first eligible to come off the DL on Wednesday, but based on where he's at in his recovery, it sounds like he could need slightly more than the minimum amount of time before being activated. Rusin plans to throw a simulated game Monday or Tuesday, which would be one the final hurdles the left-hander would need to clear in order to rejoin the Colorado bullpen.

Blach (2-3) allowed two runs on six hits and one walk across six innings while earning the win Sunday against the Dodgers. He struck out four.

Blach was stellar through the early going, allowing just one man past first base in the first five innings. He allowed a run on three hits in the sixth and put on the leadoff man -- who later came in to score -- before he was removed at the start of the seventh. Still, it was a quality start from Blach against one of the better teams in baseball, giving him three in his last five outings. He will look to build on this effort next weekend against the Braves.
