Yency Almonte RP | LAD
Rockies' Yency Almonte: Sent right back to Colorado
Almonte was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.
Almonte has been living out of a suitcase lately with three moves in four days. He was called up Thursday, sent down Saturday and brought right back up Sunday. This time, he'll be replacing Bryan Shaw, who hit the disabled list with a calf strain. Almonte appeared twice for the Rockies this season, allowing a pair of unearned runs over two innings.

Duane Underwood RP | NYY
Cubs' Duane Underwood: Option for Monday's start
Underwood could start for the Cubs on Monday against the Reds, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic Chicago reports.
The Cubs may need a spot start after Tyler Chatwood missed his start Sunday with his wife in labor. Underwood would be a logical option as he'd be lined up to start that day and is already on the 40-man roster. He has a mediocre 4.27 ERA in 71.2 innings for Triple-A Iowa so far this season.

A.J. Minter RP | MIN
Braves' A.J. Minter: Could see save chances
Minter could see save chances after Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday.
Dan Winkler got the save chance Friday when Vizcaino was unavailable, but he couldn't convert, allowing four runs on three hits and a walk in just one-third of an inning. Minter, meanwhile, has gotten back to his dominant form after a rough start to the season, posting a 2.16 ERA, a 0.60 WHIP and a 13:0 K:BB so far in June. He has a sizable platoon split so far in the major leagues, but Minter's swing-and-miss ability makes him a likely candidate to see some chances in Vizcaino's absence, even if he's not the sole closer in the interim.

Arodys Vizcaino RP | KC
Braves' Arodys Vizcaino: Heads to disabled list
Vizcaino was placed on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation Sunday.
The placement is retroactive to June 21, so Vizcaino could be eligible to return to action on July 1, though a return timetable has yet to be established. A.J. Minter figures to fill in as the Braves' closer in his absence, though Dan Winkler might chime in, as well. Evan Phillips was promoted from Triple-A Gwinnett to take Vizcaino's place on the roster.

Matt Strahm RP | KC
Padres' Matt Strahm: Starts impromptu bullpen game
Strahm unofficially started Saturday's contest against the Giants after Jordan Lyles (forearm) felt tightness in his arm prior to the start of the game.
Strahm performed admirably in a pinch, firing 3.2 innings of one-run ball, while allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five in an eventual loss. It was the southpaw's longest outing of the season, as he continues to build up his workload after missing the majority of the 2017 season with a knee injury. Initial tests on Lyles' forearm came back negative, so "Johnny Wholestaff" -- anchored by Strahm -- may not be needed again if Lyles can make his next scheduled start next Friday against the Pirates.

Andrew Suarez RP | BAL
Giants' Andrew Suarez: Strong effort in Saturday's no-decision
Suarez didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Padres, allowing one run on eight hits and a walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings.
Back-to-back singles with two outs in the sixth inning chased Suarez from the game just short of a quality start, but the left-hander still turned in another solid performance. He's given up two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts and will carry a 4.43 ERA into his next outing Friday in Arizona.

Seranthony Dominguez RP | SEA
Phillies' Seranthony Dominguez: Nails down fourth save Saturday
Dominguez struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his forth save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Nationals.
The young flamethrower hasn't blown a save chance yet, and he continues to rack up the strikeouts, as he's fanned multiple batters in four straight appearances, and at least one in 14 straight. Dominguez has a 31:3 K:BB through 23.1 innings since his promotion to the majors, providing plenty of support for his sparkling 1.54 ERA.

Trevor Richards RP | CHW
Marlins' Trevor Richards: Fans eight in Saturday's win
Richards (2-4) struck out eight and picked up the win in Saturday's 6-2 victory over the Rockies, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over six innings.
The rookie had no trouble taming Coors Field in his first visit to the park, throwing only 48 of 86 pitches for strikes but generating 15 swinging strikes on the day. Richards has now produced three quality starts in his nine trips to the mound for the Marlins, and he'll carry a 4.91 ERA into his next outing Thursday at home against the Diamondbacks.
