The Phillies optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The move opens up a spot on the active roster for Nick Pivetta, who will be officially recalled from the minors ahead of his scheduled start Tuesday against the Cardinals. The Phillies still view De Los Santos as a starter over the long haul, so he'll get the opportunity to slot into the Lehigh Valley rotation after seeing limited action of late out of the big-league bullpen. Since being summoned back to the majors May 17, De Los Santos made a pair of two-inning relief appearances, conceding three runs on two hits (both home runs) and a pair of walks.

Jansen picked up the save in the Dodgers' 9-5 victory over the Mets on Monday, giving up one hit over 1.2 scoreless innings. He struck out three and walked none.

Jansen picked up his first five-out save since July 4 of last year, striking out three of the five batters he faced to record his 15th successfully converted opportunity of the season. He hasn't given up a run since a four-run blowup against the Padres on May 5, lowering his ERA to 3.52 and his WHIP to 0.96 to go along with a 32:5 K:BB over 23 innings.

Sims will be called up from Triple-A Louisville to start Tuesday's game against the Pirates, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Sims is in line to make his first big-league start of the 2019 season following Monday's doubleheader. The right-hander has posted a 4.06 ERA with 63 punchouts over 44.1 innings this season with the Bats.

Hader picked up the save after allowing two hits and a walk while striking out two over two scoreless innings Monday against Minnesota.

Hader cruised through his first inning of work on nine pitches, though the Twins managed to move the tying run into scoring position in the ninth before the lefty retired Miguel Sano via the strikeout. Hader hadn't pitched since May 22 against the Reds entering the contest, but he finally managed to slam the door for the 13th time this season in the series opener. He's sporting a 2.33 ERA and 0.70 WHIP with a 51:8 K:BB over 27 frames in 2019.

Ferguson has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ferguson will head back to Oklahoma City in a corresponding move as the Dodgers activated Joe Kelly from the MLB bereavement list Monday. The 22-year-old left-hander has given up 11 earned runs with 16 strikeouts over 16.2 innings at the big-league level this season.

Kelly has been activated from the MLB bereavement list, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

It was an expected move for the right-handed reliever, who will rejoin the Dodgers after being placed on the bereavement list Friday. Caleb Ferguson was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

Strahm (2-4) took the loss against the Yankees on Monday, giving up three earned runs on four hits over six innings, striking out 10 and walking three in the Padres' 5-2 defeat.

Strahm gave up all three of his earned runs in the second inning, but he rebounded for a quality start that also marked his first double-digit strikeout effort of the season. He didn't get the win in this contest, but Strahm has been pitching very well as he hasn't given up more than three earned in any of his starts since he was tagged for five runs by the Diamondbacks on April 1. The strong run leaves him with a 3.21 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP and a 51:11 K:BB through 56 innings.

Archer was traded to the Reds Monday in return for cash considerations.

Archer has never appeared in the big leagues, but has spent parts of the last three seasons at Triple-A. While there has been no official word, he'll presumably be assigned to Triple-A Louisville with his new team. He had a 4.32 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 14 strikeouts across 16.2 innings with Triple-A San Antonio.

Clarke has been confirmed as the starter for Thursday's contest against the Rockies, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Clarke pitched well Saturday to earn his first big-league win but will face the difficult test of pitching at Coors Field on Thursday. The 26-year-old has proven capable early in his rookie campaign, posting a 2.93 ERA and 1.11 WHIP across 15.1 innings. However, he's also managed just eight strikeouts as opposed to three walks.

Loup (elbow) had a setback when he recently began throwing again, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Loup will now be sidelined until at least August. With news that he also received a platelet-rich plasma injection, he may be headed for an even lengthier absence.
