Strop (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

It was unclear whether Strop would need a rehab assignment before returning to the Cubs. However, given his three-week absence, the team has opted for him to complete a few warmup outings. Assuming there are no setbacks in his recovery, he should be activated from the injured list after making two appearances for Iowa, one on Tuesday night and another Thursday.

Webb (3-0) picked up the win in Sunday's extra-inning victory over the Cardinals, tossing a perfect ninth inning.

Atlanta was down 3-0 entering the ninth, but after the offense posted a three-spot in the top of the frame, Webb needed only seven pitches to produce weak contact from the heart of the Cards' order and sent the game to extras. He then got rewarded when his teammates tacked on another run in the top of the 10th. Webb has been sharp since joining the Atlanta bullpen in mid-April, collecting three wins, three holds and a save in 18 appearances with a 1.72 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB through 15.2 innings.

Collins was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Monday.

Collins was recalled by the Cubs on May 25 but his stint with the major-league squad was short-lived. He appeared in Sunday's contest, allowing one earned run on two hits across 1.1 innings of work. He's pitched well at Triple-A previously this season, producing a 2.25 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with 14 strikeouts across 12 frames.

Kinley was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans Monday, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Kinley had spent the entirety of the 2019 campaign with the Marlins, racking up a 5.09 ERA and 1.87 WHIP while striking out 27 across 23 innings of work. He pitched exclusively out of the bullpen and will need to improve on his 5.9 BB/9 to find success at the major-league level again this season.

Hernandez was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Monday, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

This will be Hernandez's second stint with the team this season, as he also joined the team May 11 prior to being sent back down May 15 without seeing game action. He's pitched very well at Triple-A New Orleans this campaign, posting a 1.07 ERA and 1.02 WHIP with 61 strikeouts across 42 innings of work. He'll likely initially serve as depth in the Marlins bullpen.

Hicks failed to record an out in Sunday's loss against Atlanta, allowing three runs on three hits and walk.

Brought in to close out the Braves in the ninth inning, Hicks immediately allowed a double to Freddie Freeman and followed by serving up two singles sandwiched around a walk. Because he was pulled with the Cardinals still leading 3-2, Hicks did not get saddled with a blown save, though the technicality matters little to St. Louis. With the blowup, Hicks' season ERA rose from 2.65 to 4.24, but he should maintain a firm grasp on the closer role as he has nailed down 10 saves on the season.

Jackson picked up the save against the Cardinals on Sunday, tossing a scoreless 10th inning and allowing one hit while striking out two.

Jackson rewarded the Braves for sticking with him despite blowing his previous two save opportunities, giving up only a two-out single and striking out Kolten Wong to wrap up the victory. His grasp on the closer role is tenuous -- he has blown four of his seven save opportunities -- but his ability to strike batters out (36 Ks in 27 innings) makes him a viable late-inning option.

Diaz allowed a hit and a walk but struck out the side to nail down his 13th save in a 4-3 victory against the Tigers on Sunday.

He looked a little shaky at times during the inning, but ultimately, Diaz bounced back nicely from his first blown save of the year. Keep in mind, though, his blown save came when he entered with runners on base in the eighth Saturday. Diaz has a 1.71 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 34 strikeouts in 21 innings this season.

Rodriguez could enter the Giants' rotation Friday against the Orioles when a fifth starter is next required, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

The Giants recalled Rodriguez from Triple-A Sacramento earlier in the weekend for the purpose of giving the big club some length out of the bullpen. He aced his first relief appearance by keeping the Diamondbacks off the board Saturday with two perfect innings, but it's unclear if that performance was enough to vault him back into the rotation. The Giants' decision to turn to Rodriguez or someone else for Friday's start may ultimately be determined by whether or not he's needed in relief at any point during the Giants' upcoming three-game series in Miami.

Cabrera will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis to start Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.

Cabrera is set to make his big-league debut despite posting a 6.35 ERA and 1.58 WHIP with a 39:19 K:BB over 39.2 frames at Triple-A this season. If he is able to turn in a solid outing, there's a chance he could stick in the rotation for the time being.
