Coonrod (3-0) retired both batters he faced and earned the win in Saturday's 10-5 victory over the Athletics.

Coonrod recorded the final two outs of the seventh inning and became the pitcher of record when the Giants rallied for eight runs in the eighth. The 26-year-old has allowed four runs on five hits and six walks across 9.2 innings in August. Overall, he has a 2.55 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 17.2 innings this season despite an unsightly 10:10 K:BB.

Yamamoto (4-5) allowed six runs on six hits with four walks and three strikeouts across 3.2 innings while taking a loss against the Phillies on Saturday.

The Phillies had runners in scoring position during the second and third innings, but Yamamoto escaped unscathed to post three scoreless innings to start the night. That all ended in the fourth, however, as he retired just two of eight batters, and the Marlins bullpen allowed all three of the runners he left on base to score. As a result, he was charged with six runs for the first time since July 27. Yamamoto, who will face the Reds at home Thursday, owns a 4.87 ERA despite a 1.13 WHIP and .192 batting average against with 69 strikeouts in 68.1 innings this season.

Diaz was removed from Saturday's game against the Braves with right trap tightness, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Diaz entered for the ninth inning with the Mets trailing 7-5, and he allowed two runs on one hit and one walk before exiting with the athletic trainer. Manager Mickey Callaway said "it's really hard to say" whether the injury could land Diaz on the injured list, but he at least seems unlikely to be available for Sunday's series finale.

Hudson (13-6) picked up the win in Saturday's 6-0 victory over the Rockies, giving up two hits and three walks over six scoreless innings while striking out two.

The right-hander continues to stifle opposition offenses without being particularly dominant. Hudson now has an 18.2-inning scoreless streak over his last three starts, but his 13:9 K:BB during that stretch suggests he's been as much lucky as good. He'll take a 3.47 ERA into his next outing Friday, at home against the Reds.

Jansen struck out the side and allowed two hits in a scoreless inning to earn the save in a 2-1 victory over the Yankees on Saturday.

Jansen came on to protect a one-run lead but allowed the Yankees to load the bases with one out on two singles and a fielder's choice. However, the right-hander rallied to strike out Mike Tauchman and Gary Sanchez to earn his 27th save in 33 chances. Jansen now has a 3.62 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:11 K:BB over 49.2 innings this year.

Voth (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Harrisburg on Saturday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Voth is set to start the contest, though it's unclear how long he will pitch. Prior to the assignment, Voth pitched in the Gulf Coast league, so he may not need a lot of additional work prior to being activated.

Pivetta was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

The Phillies had hoped Pivetta would serve as a high-leverage reliever when they shifted him to the bullpen earlier this season. However, he allowed at least one earned run in four of his last five appearances, causing the Phillies to turn in another direction. Pivetta will look to get back on track in Triple-A, though it is still unclear whether he will be used as a starter or reliever.

Clarke retired all six batters faced, three by way of strikeout, over two scoreless relief innings in Friday's 6-1 loss to the Brewers.

Clarke, who started 14 times for the Diamondbacks in 2019, could rejoin the rotation after Friday's starter, Merrill Kelly, submitted another subpar performance. Kelly surrendered six runs over 4.1 innings and sports a 9.20 ERA over his last six starts. That has manager Torey Lovullo considering options to replace him in the starting rotation, according to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. One option is Clarke, who drew raves from the manager following Friday's game. "I thought he did a really nice job of establishing his fastball presence and made things real easy," Lovullo said. "I don't care if the game is out of hand or not, he's still pitching to keep us in that situation to help us get back in the dugout and score some runs. He did a super job tonight." Lovullo also said he and his staff will have discussions regarding the state of the rotation moving forward.

Iglesias (2-9) allowed two runs on four hits while recording just one out during the ninth inning Friday, blowing the save and taking the loss against the Pirates.

He didn't give up any extra-base hits, but the only out Iglesias recorded in five batters faced came on a sacrifice bunt. The blown save snapped his streak of nine straight successful save conversions and pushed his ERA back above 4.00. Iglesias has 26 saves with four blown opportunities, a 4.17 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 70 strikeouts in 54 innings this season.

Melancon picked up the save by striking out one in a scoreless 14th inning Friday against the Mets.

Melancon retired the three batters he faced without issue to end the marathon contest. He's now registered a save in four of his last six appearances, and he continues to make a strong case to remain Atlanta's closer moving forward.
