Suter pitched three scoreless innings and picked up his fourth win of the season in Tuesday's victory over the Reds.

Suter entered Tuesday in the fifth inning in relief of Adrian Houser, and although he found himself in jams in both his second and third frames, he kept the Reds off the scoreboard and picked up his fourth win in 17 days. Suter missed most of the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he has been huge for the Brewers in September, allowing just one earned run in 17.1 innings (0.52 ERA) while posting a 0.58 WHIP and 14:1 K:BB.

Shaw earned his first save of the season after tossing a perfect frame in the bottom of the 16th in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Giants.

The Rockies had already used 10 relievers heading into the 16th, so Shaw benefited from the save chance by virtue of being one of the few arms available in the bullpen. Shaw's flawless showing Tuesday isn't enough to compensate for an otherwise unremarkable 2019 campaign, during which he's posted a 5.37 ERA and 1.36 WHIP across 70.1 innings.

Hoffman was diagnosed with a right knee contusion after exiting Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Giants in the fourth inning.

Hoffman was on the receiving end of an Alex Dickerson comebacker and needed to be carted off the field after receiving attention from trainers, but X-rays conducted later in the night cleared him of any structural damage to his knee. According to the Associated Press, Hoffman said he remains hopeful to start the Rockies' final game of the season Sunday against the Brewers, but it wouldn't be surprising if the team elected to err on the side of caution and hold him out even if he rebounds well from the injury.

Jansen picked up the save against the Padres on Tuesday, tossing a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a hit to close out the Dodgers' 6-3 victory. He struck out one and walked one.

Jansen had given up three earned over two innings in his previous two appearances coming into the contest, but he managed to bounce back with a scoreless effort in this one and lock down his 31st save of the season. That save total remains solid for a fantasy closer, but it's still been an erratic season on the whole for Jansen, who has blown eight opportunities and posted a 3.84 ERA over 61 innings that far exceeds his career mark of 2.37.

Bolanos (0-2) took the loss against the Dodgers on Tuesday, giving up four earned runs on three hits over 3.2 innings, striking out four and walking five as the Padres fell 6-3.

Bolanos couldn't consistently find the strike zone in this one, yielding five free passes and laboring for 79 pitches, finding himself unable to make it out of the fourth inning. The 23-year-old tossed a quality start in his big-league debut Sept. 3, but he's struggled since then, giving up 11 earned over his last 11.2 innings to leave him with an ugly 6.62 ERA and 1.58 WHIP.

Hudson didn't allow a baserunner in the ninth inning of the team's second game of a doubleheader Tuesday against the Phillies.

Hudson closed out both of the team's wins Tuesday, bringing his total save count on the season to seven. Though chances have been limited for the Nationals, Hudson has recorded each of the team's last four saves -- all of which have come in September. Despite manager Dave Martinez continuing to call Sean Doolittle his closer, there's nothing in his usage that suggests that's actually the case as he has yet to appear in save situation this month. In addition, there's little reason for the team to alter Hudson's role before the conclusion of the regular season, as he's now managed seven consecutive scoreless appearances.

Lambert has been shut down for the season, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

He looked gassed with a 10.43 ERA in four September starts. Lambert made 19 MLB starts and finishes with a 7.25 ERA. Even though he struggled mightily as a rookie, Lambert will likely be given a chance to compete for a rotation spot in the spring. The Rockies may opt for a bullpen game for Lambert's next and final turn in the rotation, which is Friday in San Francisco.

Hoffman exited his start Tuesday against the Giants in the fourth inning on a cart after getting hit on the right leg by a 99.6-mph line drive, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

He gave up three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three in 3.1 innings before Alex Dickerson's comebacker knocked Hoffman out of the game. The fact he needed assistance to get off the field is discouraging. Hoffman is currently scheduled to start again on the final day of the season against the Brewers but that start is very much up in the air.

Kelly (lower body) won't pitch Tuesday or Wednesday but may return Thursday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Kelly has appeared in only one game since Sept. 14 while dealing with what manager Dave Roberts vaguely described as "overall bodyitis." Despite the extended time off and mysterious nature of Kelly's condition, Roberts suggested a lack of concern and indicated that Kelly will likely pitch Thursday. The 31-year-old is expected to play a central role in the Dodgers' bullpen in the postseason.

Hader allowed two hits and struck out one across one inning to earn the save Tuesday against the Reds.

Hader recorded the first two outs in the ninth inning without issue, but allowed a single and double to the next two batters he faced. He struck out Christian Colon to keep the Brewers' lead intact and record his 36th save of the campaign. After a shaky month of August, Hader has allowed only two earned runs across 12 innings in the final month of the regular season.
