Austin Pruitt RP | TEX
Marlins' Austin Pruitt: Outrighted to Triple-A
Pruitt cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.
Pruitt was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Thursday but will remain in the organization with the Triple-A club. The right-hander has posted a 2.45 ERA and 0.63 WHIP in 3.2 innings across three appearances at Triple-A Jacksonville and will likely be in the mix if the Marlins need an extra bullpen arm.

Adbert Alzolay RP | NYM
Cubs' Adbert Alzolay: Picks up win
Alzolay (5-13) allowed just one hit and struck out two over 1.2 scoreless innings as he earned the win over the Pirates on Sunday.
Alzolay entered in the sixth with two men on and one out. He started out a little rocky after allowing both runners to be in scoring position on a passed ball before allowing Brian Reynolds to score on an infield single to give the Pirates an 8-7 advantage. The 26-year-old would settle in thereafter to retire the next five guys he faced. The Cubs would take the lead for good in the bottom of the seventh off a Frank Schwindel grand slam to give Alozolay his first win since June 2. Alzolay has now picked up a save and a win over 5.2 innings in two appearances out of the bullpen since being reinstated from the injured list Sept. 1. He now sits at a 4.90 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 114:32 K:BB over 112 innings.

Sam Howard RP | DET
Pirates' Sam Howard: Takes loss Sunday
Howard (2-4) allowed two runs on one hit and one walk in just a third of an inning as he took the loss against the Cubs on Sunday.
Howard entered in the seventh with one out and a man on first and the Pirates clinging onto a one-run lead. He only stayed in to face the minimum of three batters and was pulled with the bases loaded and two outs. His replacement went on to allow a grand slam and two of those runs were charged to Howard. The 28-year-old has now allowed six runs (five earned) over 3.2 innings since returning from the injured list Aug. 28 and has lost twice during that span.

Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Giants' Dominic Leone: Clean inning as opener
Leone pitched a perfect inning in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.
The 29-year-old was called upon to start San Francisco's second consecutive bullpen game, and he got the job done in the first inning. Leone did not factor in the decision, as he hasn't worked more than one inning since his second appearance of the year back in June. He's been good in a high-leverage role with a 1.82 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 38:20 K:BB across 39.2 innings while adding a save, 13 holds and a 3-3 record this year.

Zack Littell SP | WAS
Giants' Zack Littell: Picks up win
Littell (2-0) got the win in Sunday's 6-4 victory over the Dodgers, striking out two in one inning of work.
In another bullpen game for San Francisco, Littell was brought in with two on and none out in the second inning and was able to escape the jam unscathed. The Giants went on to score two runs in the bottom of the inning to make Littell the winner. The 25-year-old has pitched well dating back to the start of August, recording a 1.11 ERA in 16.2 innings across 12 appearances in the stretch.

Taylor Clarke RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Taylor Clarke: Falters again
Clarke (1-3) took the loss in Sunday's 10-4 defeat at the hands of the Mariners, allowing four runs (three earned) on one hit and two walks without recording an out.
Clarke was brought in to pitch the 11th of a 3-3 game and proceeded to walk the first two Mariners before surrendering a two-run Kyle Seager double and being pulled. Though he hadn't pitched poorly prior to Sunday, the loss marks his third in his last four appearances and the 28-year-old now owns a 4.98 ERA on the season.

Tyler Gilbert RP | CHW
Diamondbacks' Tyler Gilbert: Submits quality start
Gilbert didn't factor into the decision in a 10-4 loss to Seattle on Sunday in extra innings, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in seven innings.
Gilbert permitted two runs on two hits in the fourth inning and another run in the seventh to depart with the game knotted at 3-3. The rookie has accumulated a decent 4.06 ERA in five starts since joining the rotation, though his upside remains limited by a mere 19 strikeouts in those 31 innings.

Wil Crowe RP | PIT
Pirates' Wil Crowe: Struggles continue Sunday
Crowe surrendered seven earned runs in three innings of Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Cubs. He gave up seven hits and two walks while striking out one batter.
Crowe may be better suited for the bullpen, but Pittsburgh's lack of starting options has thrust him into the rotation. He needed 68 pitches (39 for strikes) to navigate his way through three innings. He'll have to earn his way onto the starting roster in 2022, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him demoted to Triple-A.

Giovanny Gallegos RP | LAD
Cardinals' Giovanny Gallegos: Tagged with four runs
Gallegos allowed four runs on three hits and a walk in Sunday's loss to Milwaukee. He struck out two batters and recorded his 24th hold in one inning of work.
Gallegos was given the chance to record a five-out save Sunday. He finished off the eighth inning with ease before running into trouble in the ninth. He gave up a run before recording an out and then found himself in a bases-loaded jam. St. Louis elected to throw Alex Reyes on the mound after Gallegos' 30th pitch. Reyes immediately allowed a walkoff grand slam, charging Gallegos with three of those runs. With both of the team's main closing options struggling, the Cardinals' closer role is still wide open. Gallegos now owns a 3.46 ERA through 67.2 innings.

Alex Reyes RP | LAD
Cardinals' Alex Reyes: Coughs up grand slam
Reyes (5-8) gave up a walkoff grand slam and blew the save in Sunday's loss to the Brewers. He was charged with one run.
Reyes was called upon to protect a 5-2 lead with the bases loaded and one out in the ninth inning. He served up a walkoff grand slam to Daniel Vogelbach on his second pitch. He had worked two clean innings this month since blowing his last save chance Aug. 29. Giovanny Gallegos also struggled Sunday and the Cardinals' closer gig is still up in the air. Reyes' ERA is up to 3.00 through 60 innings.
