Pruitt cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.
Pruitt was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Thursday but will remain in the organization with the Triple-A club. The right-hander has posted a 2.45 ERA and 0.63 WHIP in 3.2 innings across three appearances at Triple-A Jacksonville and will likely be in the mix if the Marlins need an extra bullpen arm.
