The Athletics optioned MacIver to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.

With Shea Langeliers (oblique) back from the 10-day injured list, MacIver's presence with the big club was no longer needed. He acquitted himself well during his first stint in the majors, posting a .737 OPS with a couple homers in 16 contests.

The Athletics activated Langeliers (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at catcher and bat fifth in the Athletics' series opener at Tampa Bay.

Langeliers has missed the last three-plus weeks with a left oblique strain but is ready to roll after going 8-for-13 with one home run in three rehab games with Triple-A Las Vegas. Fellow catcher Willie MacIver was optioned to Las Vegas in a corresponding move.

Torrens went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Pirates.

He supplied the Mets' only offense on the afternoon with his fifth-inning solo shot off Mike Burrows. It was Torrens' first multi-hit performance since taking over from a demoted Francisco Alvarez as New York's No. 1 catcher, and his first long ball since March 31. On the season, Torrens is slashing .222/.296/.340 with two homers and 14 RBI in 51 contests.

Dinges sustained a strained left hamstring Sunday in High-A Wisconsin's 5-4 loss to Quad Cities and is expected to be out for at least a couple of weeks, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

A firmer timeline for Dinges' return won't be established until he undergoes an MRI, but the catching prospect appears to have avoided a season-ending injury after he went down without taking contact while rounding third base Sunday and needed to be assisted off the field. After receiving a promotion from Single-A Carolina on May 20, Dinges has slashed .302/.364/.500 with six home runs and a 10.1 percent walk rate in 132 plate appearances with Wisconsin.

Murphy went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Phillies.

His second-inning shot off Ranger Suarez gave Atlanta a 1-0 lead, but the team's bats were quiet the rest of the afternoon. Murphy has gone yard in back-to-back games, giving him 11 homers on the season as he continues to split reps with rookie Drake Baldwin. Neither backstop made a consistent impact in June however -- Murphy slashed .217/.283/.391 in 53 plate appearances on the month, while Baldwin sported a .200/.323/.418 line in 65 PAs.

MacIver went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a pair of walks in Sunday's 12-5 loss to the Yankees.

MacIver got the A's on the board in the fifth inning with his solo shot off Marcus Stroman, his second big-league homer. The 28-year-old rookie has been productive of late, going 5-for-14 with a pair of homers and four extra-base hits in his last five games as he continues to split catching duties with Austin Wynns while Shea Langeliers (oblique) is sidelined.

Narvaez went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Toronto.

Narvaez homered for the first time in 13 games and is up to seven long balls for the season. He's hit a rough patch in June and entered Sunday with a .172 average (5-for-29, 31.3 strikeout percentage) over his previous seven games.

Higashioka went 0-for-5 with two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-innings loss to Seattle.

Higashioka never reached base safely but managed to score two runs as the automatic runner in the 10th and 12th innings. June hasn't been kind to Higashioka, who is batting .167 after posting a .194 average during May. He parlayed a good stretch in San Diego last season into a two-year deal with the Rangers during the offseason, but Higashioka has not delivered while splitting the catching duties with Jonah Heim.

Garver went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two RBI singles during Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rangers in 12 innings.

Garver didn't have a single game with more than two RBI until June 20, when he drove in five. He exceeded the two RBI mark again Sunday, logging an RBI single in the sixth and 10th innings and tagging Cole Winn for a two-run homer in the 12th frame. Garver is 10-for-31 (.323) with three home runs and two doubles during his last eight games

Davis went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Mets.

Davis singled and scored in the second and eighth frames, sandwiched around a double in the fourth inning. He was stuck in a 3-for-33 (.091) skid since his last multi-hit performance June 7. Davis is now slashing .207/.273/.351 with eight extra-base hits through 38 appearances.
