Elias Diaz C | SD
Padres' Elias Diaz: Sitting again Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Diaz will take a seat for the second day in a row while Martin Maldonado receives another start behind the dish. Since he's still started six of the Padres' last 10 games overall, Diaz appears to be the team's preferred catching option, though that hasn't meant much for fantasy purposes. Diaz closed May with just six hits in 45 at-bats (.133 average) over his final 16 games of the month.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Out of Sunday's lineup
Moreno is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.
Moreno went 2-for-7 with a double, an RBI and a run while starting the first two games of the series and will sit for Sunday's finale. Jose Herrera will take over behind the plate to catch for ace Corbin Burnes.

Henry Davis C | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Sitting after three straight starts
Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Davis will give way behind the plate to Endy Rodriguez, who will pick up his first start since being activated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Davis started the prior three games and looks like he could serve as the team's top option behind the plate while Joey Bart (concussion) is on the 7-day injured list. Davis wrapped up May with a .237/.341/.342 slash line and a 22.2 percent strikeout rate over 46 plate appearances on the month.

Carson Kelly C | CHC
Cubs' Carson Kelly: Out of lineup Sunday
Kelly is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
It's likely just a rest day for Kelly, who went 0-for-10 with a walk while starting the previous three games. Reese McGuire will step in behind the plate to catch for veteran righty Jameson Taillon on Sunday.

Hunter Goodman C | COL
Rockies' Hunter Goodman: On bench Sunday
Goodman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.
Goodman started the previous four games and will receive Sunday off after going 3-for-16 with a walk and five strikeouts during that stretch. Jacob Stallings will work behind the plate and bat ninth in the series finale for Colorado.
-
Drake Baldwin C | ATL
Braves' Drake Baldwin: Taking seat for series finale
Baldwin is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
After taking a seat for Friday's series opener against right-hander Lucas Giolito, Baldwin will sit against southpaw Garrett Crochet this time around. Sean Murphy will get the nod at catcher Sunday as the duo continue to split time behind the plate.

Francisco Alvarez C | NYM
Mets' Francisco Alvarez: Receiving Sunday off
Alvarez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Alvarez started the first two games of the series and will sit for Sunday's finale after going 1-for-7 with three strikeouts. Luis Torrens will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Clay Holmes.

Pedro Pages C | STL
Cardinals' Pedro Pages: Getting bulk of starts at catcher
Pages is starting at catcher and batting eighth in Sunday's game versus the Rangers.
Pages had seemed destined for a reserve role once Ivan Herrera returned from the 10-day injured list back on May 9. However, Herrera has been used as the Cardinals' primary designated hitter, while Pages has started at catcher in 14 of 21 contests over that span. Despite the regular playing time, Pages isn't much of a fantasy option even in two-catcher leagues, as most of his value to St. Louis comes from his defense.

Dalton Rushing C | LAD
Dodgers' Dalton Rushing: Slugs first big-league homer
Rushing went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 18-2 rout of the Yankees.
Things got so out of hand score-wise that Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts brought in Rushing to pinch hit for reigning NL MVP Shohei Ohtani in the sixth inning. The Yankees essentially waved the white flag when they called upon position player Pablo Reyes to pitch in the eighth, and Rushing took advantage by blasting a three-run home run for his first long ball as a major leaguer. Since being called up from the minors May 14, Rushing has been routinely starting every third game behind the plate, and he's compiled a .273/.304/.455 slash line with seven RBI through 23 plate appearances.

William Contreras C | MIL
Brewers' William Contreras: Reaches four times in win
Contreras went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, one RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 17-7 win over the Phillies.
Contreras reached safely in his first four plate appearances before flying out in the sixth inning. The catcher closed out May with back-to-back three-hit performances, a strong finish after entering the weekend mired in a 1-for-19 slump. On the season, he's slashing .253/.366/.364 with five homers, 26 RBI, 33 runs scored and five stolen bases across 235 plate appearances.
