Connor Norby 3B | MIA
Marlins' Connor Norby: Returns from 10-day IL
The Marlins activated Norby (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list Monday.
Norby will rejoin the Marlins after missing the minimum 10 days while recovering from a left quad strain. The 25-year-old was activated after completing a three-game rehab assignment at Triple-A Jacksonville, during which he went 2-for-10 with two RBI, a run scored and four strikeouts. Norby is expected to settle back in as Miami's primary third baseman for the final two weeks of the season.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Reds' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Late entry into lineup
Hayes will start at third base and bat eighth in Monday's contest in St. Louis.
Hayes had been scheduled for a day off, but he's been added to the lineup after Spencer Steer (neck) was scratched. Sal Stewart will move from third base to first base to cover for Steer, while Hayes will occupy the hot corner.

Blaze Alexander 3B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Blaze Alexander: Back in lineup Monday
Alexander (elbow) is starting at third base and batting fifth against the Giants on Monday, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.
Alexander was struck on his left elbow by a pitch during the Diamondbacks' 6-4 win over the Rangers on Sunday. He was diagnosed with an elbow contusion, and the injury isn't severe enough to be held out of the starting lineup for Monday's series opener. Alexander has gone 7-for-27 (.259) with four RBI over his last seven games.

Jordan Westburg 3B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Back with team, activation imminent
Westburg (ankle) joined the Orioles in Chicago on Monday and will be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Though the Orioles didn't reinstate him prior to Monday's series opener in Chicago, Westburg is likely just getting a day to rest after he went 2-for-5 with two home runs in his final rehab game for Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday. Assuming that the Orioles' medical staff is satisfied with the condition on his right ankle, Westburg will likely rejoin the lineup Tuesday. Westburg will presumably take over as the Orioles' everyday third baseman, resulting in Jeremiah Jackson moving into more of a utility role.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Reds' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Resting in series opener
Hayes is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
After going 0-for-7 with a walk over the final two contests of the Reds' weekend series in Sacramento, Hayes will get a chance to catch his breath as Cincinnati kicks off a three-game set in St. Louis. Sal Stewart will step in for Hayes at third base and will bat fifth.

Nolan Gorman 3B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Sitting in Arenado's return
Gorman is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Gorman had started in each of the Cardinals' last 29 games, but he could be headed for a steep reduction in playing time over the final two weeks of the regular season after St. Louis reinstated Nolan Arenado (shoulder) from the injured list Monday. With Arenado immediately slotting back into the lineup at his usual post at third base and with Willson Contreras (undisclosed) back in action Monday following a one-game hiatus, St. Louis now has its top options at the corner-infield spots available for the first time since late July.

Nolan Arenado 3B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Returns from 10-day IL
The Cardinals activated Arenado (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at third base and bat sixth in the Cardinals' series opener versus the Reds, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Arenado needed nearly seven weeks to recover from a right shoulder strain, but he's been cleared to return to action after going 1-for-13 at the plate in four rehab games with Double-A Springfield. The 34-year-old should be used as the team's primary third baseman down the stretch, which is likely to result in a downturn in playing time for Nolan Gorman.

Brady House 3B | WAS
Nationals' Brady House: Out of lineup again Monday
House is absent from the lineup for Monday's contest against Atlanta.
Paul DeJong started at third base Sunday versus the Pirates and contributed two doubles in three plate appearances, which has earned him another start at the hot corner Monday. House had started five straight and nine of 10 before sitting out back-to-back contests.
