Moustakas (wrist) will take batting practice Monday, Sophia Minnaert of Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.

Moustakas has been available for defense over the last few days, but he hasn't received a plate appearance since last Monday as he deals with a bruised wrist. It's not clear exactly when he'll be back in the lineup, but he appears to be moving in the right direction.

Moustakas (wrist) entered Sunday's 8-5 win over the Cubs as a defensive replacement at third base before being pulled from the game when his turn in the batting order came up.

After making appearances at the hot corner for the final two games of the series with Chicago, Moustakas' left wrist injury doesn't look to be impacting him when he throws or fields, but the 31-year-old still hasn't been cleared to resume hitting. Until he takes batting practice without discomfort, Moustakas' return to the lineup shouldn't be viewed as imminent. Travis Shaw and Hernan Perez will draw most of the starts at third base while Moustakas' injury limits him to a bench role.

Suarez went 3-for-4 with two home runs, two runs and three RBI in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Remarkably, Suarez is now tied with Christian Yelich and Cody Bellinger for the third-most home runs in the majors with 44, trailing Mike Trout and Pete Alonso, who both sit at 45 long balls. He has established himself as one of the premier power threats in the game.

McMahon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

The two teams are playing a day game after a night game, and the Padres are bringing lefty Eric Lauer to the hill for the series finale, providing enough reasons for Rockies skipper Bud Black to grant the lefty-hitting McMahon the day off. With McMahon on the bench, Pat Valaika will pick up the start at the keystone.

Riley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

After being reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Riley drew one start at both of the corner outfield spots the past two days, going hitless with three strikeouts and a walk across six plate appearances. Riley is expected to handle at least a part-time role for the Braves in September, but Rafael Ortega and Matt Joyce also stand to see steady work at either corner spot.

Senzel (shoulder) remains out of the lineup Sunday against Arizona.

A sore shoulder will keep Senzel sidelined for the fifth straight game. He's appeared off the bench in each of the last three contests, though, so there's a chance he could be ready to go Tuesday in Seattle following Monday's scheduled off day. Brian O'Grady will start in center field in his absence.

Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.

The 33-year-old is on another tear, going deep in consecutive games and four times in his last seven contests while slashing .364/.517/.955 and racking up nine RBI. Donaldson now has 36 homers on the year, leaving him with 19 games left on the schedule to slug five more and tie his career high of 41, set during his MVP campaign of 2015.

Newman went 1-for-4 with a run and stolen base in a 10-1 loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.

In a different era, Newman would probably be more appreciated. He only has 10 home runs and thus a .133 ISO, but he's batting .313 with 14 stolen bases. He's also chipped in 53 RBI and 51 runs, which is very respectable for 415 at-bats with a below-average team.

Manager Craig Counsell said Moustakas (wrist) still can't swing a bat, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Moustakas came off the bench and played an inning at third base Saturday, but he was pulled for a pinch hitter once he was scheduled to bat. Counsell said Friday that the veteran third baseman is in "significant pain" and is "not making progress," so it seems unlikely he'll return to action Sunday if the team wasn't comfortable with him hitting a day earlier. Travis Shaw and Hernan Perez should continue splitting time at the hot corner in his place.

Muncy (wrist) hopes to be activated off the 10-day injured list to start Friday against the Mets, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

The 29-year-old began fielding groundballs and taking swings this week and expects to progress enough to rejoin the Dodgers next weekend. Muncy has been sidelined since Aug. 28, when he sustained a small crack in his right wrist after he was hit by a pitch.
