Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Belts 14th homer
Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Royals.
He supplied Toronto's only offense on the night by taking Angel Zerpa deep in the fifth inning. Chapman has gone yard three times in the last eight games, giving him 14 homers on the year, but his .218/.295/.413 slash line through 84 contests continues to limit his fantasy utility.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Swats solo homer
Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Rays.
Devers plated the game's first run with his solo shot to right field in the fourth inning. The blast was his 20th of the campaign, tied for eighth-most in the American League. Devers has been one of fantasy's top third basemen with a .327/.383/.595 slash line, 52 RBI and two steals in addition to the big homer total.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Suffers hand injury
Donaldson exited Thursday's game against the Reds after being hit by a pitch on his right hand, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Donaldson was out of the starting lineup Thursday but came in to pinch hit in the eighth inning. He was hit by a 95-mph fastball and originally tried to stay in the game prior to being lifted for Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Donaldson can be considered day-to-day for the time being, but he will likely have imaging done that will shed further light on his status.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Enters Thursday's lineup
Toro is starting at second base and hitting eighth Thursday against the Rangers.
Toro was not in the original lineup but will draw the start after J.P. Crawford was scratched with an undisclosed injury. Toro was picking up regular playing time as the Mariners dealt with suspensions to Crawford, Jesse Winker and Julio Rodriguez, but his role should be diminished going forward, assuming Crawford's absence is short term.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Promoted from Double-A
The Royals recalled Garcia from Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Thursday.
Garcia was one of several minor leaguers called up in advance of Thursday's series opener in Toronto after the Royals placed 10 players on the 26-man active roster on the restricted list in corresponding moves. With those 10 players unavailable for the entire four-game set in Canada due to their vaccination statuses, Garcia should get the chance to make his MLB debut this weekend, though he won't be included in Thursday's lineup. The 22-year-old infielder has slashed .287/.365/.397 with three home runs and 27 stolen bases across 351 plate appearances at the Double-A level this season.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Receives breather Thursday
Donaldson is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against the Reds.
Donaldson will get a day off after he went 1-for-7 with an RBI and run scored in the first two games of the series. DJ LeMahieu will slide over to third base while Anthony Rizzo mans first base and bats third against the Reds.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Day off Thursday
Paredes isn't starting Thursday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Paredes started the last two games and went 1-for-7 with a double, a run, a walk and a strikeout. However, he'll take a seat for the second time in the last four games Thursday while Ji-Man Choi starts at first base with Jonathan Aranda taking over at the keystone.

Taylor Walls SS | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Smacks fourth homer
Walls went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Red Sox.
Walls has started all four games at shortstop since Wander Franco went down with a fractured wrist. On Wednesday he tallied his fourth home run of the season and first since June 7. Walls has maintained just a .165/.246/.274 line across 256 plate appearances this season, but the Rays have continued to find him a regular spot in the starting lineup.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Slugs walk-off homer
Miranda went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run Wednesday against the Brewers.
Miranda was the hero Wednesday as he slugged a walk-off home run in the ninth inning -- his eighth long ball of the season. He's started 11 of the Twins' last 14 games -- primarily at first base -- and after the performance, he's hitting .348 with four home runs, 16 RBI and five runs scored in that span. Though Miranda isn't locked into a single position, he has certainly helped his cause to remain a regular in the lineup with his recent performance. Miranda owns a .260/.299/.463 line across 187 plate appearances overall this season.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Likely to lose playing time
Toro is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Nationals.
Toro went 0-for-3 with a walk in the front end of the doubleheader, which was his 11th start in 13 games. He's benefited from the Mariners having one of J.P. Crawford, Jesse Winker or Julio Rodriguez out for each of the past 11 contests while the trio had their suspensions staggered out, but Toro will likely lose out on playing time now that each of the three has served their respective bans.
