Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Effective out of leadoff spot
Henderson went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Detroit.
Henderson made the most of his first career start batting leadoff in the big leagues. He recorded his fifth multi-hit effort in his last seven games, including a two-run home run. The homer, Henderson's third on the campaign, was a 409-foot blast to right field in the seventh inning which pulled the game to within one. It's uncertain if he will stick in the leadoff spot, but Henderson looks like he should be a quality source of counting stats down the stretch regardless of where he bats in the order.

Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Leading off Tuesday
Henderson will man third base and hit leadoff in Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Henderson hit no higher than cleanup over his first 18 appearances as a big leaguer, but manager Brandon Hyde decided to switch things up with the Orioles' offense looking for a spark, so the rookie will get a shot to show what he can do atop the order.
