Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Reaches base three times
Rodgers went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a walk as Colorado beat St. Louis, 5-2 on Thursday.
Rodgers tagged Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright for a two-run homer in the second, singled in the fourth and walked with two out in the ninth to ignite the game-winning rally. It was the young infielder's second straight two-hit performance as he's now slashing .290/.374/.486 in 34 games.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Not in Thursday's lineup
Lux isn't starting Thursday's game against the Nationals, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Lux hasn't been very effective at the plate recently, as he's gone just 2-for-25 with a run, an RBI, a stolen base, six walks and six strikeouts across the last nine games. Chris Taylor will start at shortstop and bat second.

Luis Urias 2B | TOR
Brewers' Luis Urias: Sits in series opener
Urias is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates.
Urias will get a well-deserved breather Thursday after he ignited the Brewers with a 4-for-5 afternoon in the team's thrilling 15-7 win over the Cubs on Wednesday. Kolten Wong (calf) will check back into the lineup after a four-game absence, so Urias should drop in the order after he filled in at the leadoff spot while Wong was out.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Drives in seven in rout
Albies went 5-for-6 with a pair of home runs, a stolen base, seven RBI and two additional runs in Wednesday's 20-2 win over the Mets.
After driving in only six runs over the previous 11 games for a struggling Atlanta offense, Albies was at the center of the team's offensive eruption Wednesday. The five-hit day was the first of Albies' career, and helped him improve his OPS to .857 on the season. That's five points better than the career-best mark he posted in 2019.

Luis Urias 2B | TOR
Brewers' Luis Urias: Crackers two homers in four-hit day
Urias went 4-for-5 with a pair of home runs, four RBI and three runs scored Wednesday against the Cubs.
Urias destroyed Chicago pitching out of the leadoff spot, blasting a two-run homer in the first inning and a solo shot in the sixth. He added a double and single for his first four-hit performance of the season. After showing very little offensively in his first three big-league campaigns, Urias has broken out in 2021 with a .247/.338/.433 slash line to go with 10 home runs and 39 RBI. He's also swiped three bases in three attempts. Urias racked up an .875 OPS across 102 at-bats during the month of June.

Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Finding regular work at 3B
Guillorme will start at third base and bat eighth Wednesday in Atlanta.
Jonathan Villar hasn't played since June 21 with a calf strain that ultimately resulted in him landing on the injured list, paving the way for Guillorme to take over as the Mets' primary option at the hot corner. Guillorme will draw his ninth straight start at the position after going 6-for-23 with a 5:2 BB:K across his previous eight contests. With Villar and J.D. Davis (hand) both set to begin minor-league rehab assignments at Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Guillorme's time as an everyday player should soon come to an end.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Resting against lefty
McNeil is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Atlanta.
The lefty-hitting McNeil will take a seat with southpaw Max Fried toeing the rubber for Atlanta. Jose Peraza will fill in at the keystone for McNeil, who has gone 7-for-32 with no extra-base hits in his 10 games since returning from the 10-day injured list June 21.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Could return this weekend
Hoerner (hamstring) could return during the Cubs' weekend series in Cincinnati, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Hoerner began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Sunday, and he's gone 2-for-5 with an RBI and two strikeouts across two games. He'll appear in another rehab game Thursday, but manager David Ross said it's possible that the second baseman could rejoin the major-league club this weekend.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Smokes 13th homer
Albies went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Tuesday against the Mets.
Albies delivered Atlanta's entire offensive output with one swing of the bat when he took Tylor Megill yard in the fifth inning. It was Albies' 13th home run of the season and fourth in his last 12 games. He's recorded at least one hit in eight of those 12 contests, racking up eight runs scored, nine RBI and four stolen bases in the process. Albies has delivered on his promise as a strong power and speed producer, as he has a career-best .247 ISO along with 10 stolen bases through 76 games.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Back with big-league club
Estrada was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Estrada spent five days on the big-league roster earlier in June and will rejoin the Giants on Tuesday. The 25-year-old will provide infield depth with Evan Longoria (shoulder), Brandon Belt (knee) and Tommy La Stella (hamstring/thumb) on the injured list. Mauricio Dubon was optioned to Sacramento in a corresponding move.
