Gorman went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-6 win over Atlanta.

A two-run blast in the third inning off Michael Soroka was followed by a solo shot in the ninth off Michael Tonkin, as Gorman snapped a 16-game homer drought that extended back to Aug, 4. In nine contests since recovering from a back issue and being activated off the IL, Gorman's batting just .133 (4-for-30) with 17 strikeouts, but three of his four hits and five of his six RBI during that stretch have come in the last two games.

Mauricio went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's 11-5 win over the Nationals.

The 22-year-old had the least impressive night of the four Mets rookies in the lineup, but his two-out single in the eighth inning gave Mauricio his first career RBI. He's gone an impressive 6-for-15 (.400) in four games since his promotion with a double and two steals, and Mauricio figures to be a fixture at second base for New York over the final month of the season.

India (foot) could begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville on Friday, if he continues on a positive path, MLB.com reports.

India's left foot is pain free, but the Reds are taking a deliberate approach in building up the infielder to avoid a setback that could end his season prematurely. If he begins the rehab assignment this weekend as hoped, he could return from the 10-day injured list as soon as Sept. 12.

Montes was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Tuesday.

Montes has posted strong numbers this season with Triple-A Albuquerque, but he's struggled in a couple of different major-league stints and is now off the 40-man roster in Colorado. Cole Tucker will fill the vacancy.

Fermin was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

Fermin is 4-for-25 at the plate during his brief time with the Cardinals this season. He will operate as a backup infielder.

Motter was designated for assignment by the Cardinals on Monday.

Jose Fermin was called up from Triple-A Memphis and will take over Motter's roster spot as an extra infielder. Motter has now been designated for assignment three times this season, and he seems likely to clear waivers and be outrighted to Triple-A again.

Stott went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a run and a stolen base against the Padres in Monday's 9-7 victory.

Bohm was in the midst of a 1-for-17 cold spell coming into Monday, but he turned things around emphatically with his second four-hit game of the campaign. The second baseman also notched his 26th theft, tied for 13th in the majors. Stott has complemented his excellent .294/.337/.442 slash line with 14 homers, 29 doubles, 55 RBI and 70 runs over 549 plate appearances this season.

Kim went 1-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases Sunday in a 4-0 victory over the Giants.

Kim singled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and quickly stole second base before being wiped out at third on a fielder's choice. He added a walk and another theft in the fourth frame. Kim is up to 31 steals on the season, eighth-most in the majors. He's added 17 homers, 52 RBI, 77 runs and a .275/.365/.429 slash line in what has been a breakout campaign.

Marte is not in the lineup for Monday's game versus the Rockies.

It appears to be a routine day off, which would be Marte's first since Aug. 17. Geraldo Perdomo will slide over to second base while Nick Ahmed gets a start at shortstop Monday.

Reds manager David Bell said Sunday that India (foot) could begin a rehab assignment within the next week, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

India, who has been on the 10-day injured list since July 30 with left foot plantar fasciitis, began a running progression Monday at the Reds' complex in Arizona and looks to be making good progress in his recovery. Bell suggested that India would likely need at least three rehab games before being activated from the IL, so the 26-year-old probably won't be ready to return to the Cincinnati lineup until early next week at the soonest.
