Dylan Moore 1B | PHI
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Homers for lone run in loss
Moore went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Blue Jays.
Moore is 4-for-15 with a homer, two stolen bases and three RBI over four games since he returned from a hip strain. The utility player has been one of the Mariners' strongest hitters so far this season, racking up seven homers, 12 RBI, 18 runs scored, seven steals and a .282/.330/.553 slash line through 27 contests. He's already over halfway to matching his career high in homers, which was in 2021 when he slugged 12 long balls in 126 games.

Kristian Campbell 2B | BOS
Red Sox's Kristian Campbell: Sitting out Sunday
Campbell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
Campbell will take a seat for the series finale after going 3-for-26 with no walks and seven strikeouts over the prior six games. David Hamilton will fill in for Campbell at the keystone.

Jackson Holliday 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jackson Holliday: Hitting out of leadoff spot
Holliday will start at second base and bat in the leadoff spot against the Angels on Saturday.
After being moved to the two hole Thursday, Holliday will lead things off for the Orioles on Saturday, a spot that has been occupied mostly by Cedric Mullins this season. Holliday has reached base safely in nine straight games, and over that span he has gone 11-for-30 (.367) with five runs scored, two home runs and four RBI.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Astros' Brendan Rodgers: Sitting Saturday
Rodgers is not in Saturday's lineup against the Reds.
Rodgers will be out of the lineup for the third time in Houston's last five games after starting the team's four previous contests. The Astros shifted their defensive alignment Saturday, with Jose Altuve manning second base to accommodate Yainer Diaz at designated hitter.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Rare homer against lefty
Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-3 win over the Brewers.
He drove a Jose Quintana sinker deep to right field in the fourth inning -- Lowe's first homer, and only his third hit, off a southpaw this season. It's an encouraging sign for the second baseman, who has had trouble getting much loft on the ball in the early going and sports a career-low 33.7 percent flyball rate so far in 2025. He also carries a career-worst 6.4 percent walk rate, leading to a rough .200/.250/.323 slash line with five homers, one steal, 13 runs and 18 RBI through 34 games.

Colt Keith 3B | DET
Tigers' Colt Keith: Strong May continues
Keith went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI single in Friday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.
Keith came around to score in the second inning and added to the Tigers' lead in the fourth with an RBI single that brought Riley Greene home. Keith had a poor start to the season, but he has been hot at the plate in May. He has recorded two hits in each of his last four starts, going 8-for-14 with five runs scored, two home runs and six RBI over that span.

Andres Gimenez SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Andres Gimenez: Placed on injured list
The Blue Jays placed Gimenez on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right quadricep strain.
After exiting Wednesday's game against the Angels early, Gimenez underwent imaging Thursday that revealed a strain in his quad which will keep him out until at least May 18. Michael Stefanic will come up from Triple-A Buffalo to give the Jays some short-term infield depth, though Ernie Clement will likely see time at second base going forward with Addison Barger at third and Nathan Lukes picking up starts in the outfield.

Michael Stefanic 2B | ATH
Blue Jays' Michael Stefanic: Called up to majors
The Blue Jays selected Stefanic's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.
The move corresponds with the Blue Jays placing Andres Gimenez (quadriceps) on the 10-day injured list. Stefanic signed a minor-league contract with the Blue Jays in November after appearing in 40 games for the Angels in 2024 when he posted a .556 OPS with eight RBI over 124 plate appearances. He's been more productive in the minors this season, slashing .319/.454/.372 with four stolen bases, seven runs scored and 13 RBI in 119 plate appearances. With Gimenez on the shelf, Stefanic should see some playing time at second base on days when Ernie Clement shifts to third.

Sam Haggerty LF | TEX
Rangers' Sam Haggerty: Added to big-league roster
The Rangers selected Haggerty's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.
Haggerty inked a minor-league deal with Texas during the offseason after missing most of last season due to an Achilles injury, and he's enjoyed a strong start to 2025 at Round Rock with a .313/.383/.398 slash line and seven steals in 22 games. The 30-year-old will provide the Rangers with some outfield depth, though he's also seen action at first, second and third base during his big-league career. He's starting in center field and batting leadoff for the Rangers on Friday in Detroit.
