Philadelphia re-signed Adeyi on Tuesday, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports.

Adeyi logged a brief stint with the Eagles during spring, and he now re-ups with the team early during training camp. The undrafted rookie out of Sam Houston ran a 4.35 40-yard dash (4.28 unofficial) and will need to translate that speed into impressive plays at camp for any shot of earning a depth role in Philadelphia's crowded WR corps.

Washington (undisclosed) made a highlight play at practice Tuesday, hauling in a 50-yard pass from quarterback Zach Wilson, Barry Jackson, Omar Kelly and C. Isaiah Smalls of the Miami Herald report.

Washington missed his entire rookie season due to a lower-leg injury then opened OTAs in a non-contact jersey, but he appears fully healthy at training camp. The 2024 seventh-round pick will now work to both remain healthy and build some momentum while impressing as a downfield threat. He tallied 59 catches for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns in his final season at USC.

Johnston isn't in line to play in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Lions, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.

Coach Jim Harbaugh said that "veteran traditional starters" won't be seeing action in the contest, with Ladd McConkey also slated to get Thursday off. In the wake of Mike Williams' retirement, McConkey and Johnston are on track to start this season, with 2025 draftees Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith looking to make an immediate impact in a wide receiver corps that also includes Derius Davis and Jalen Reagor (lower body).

Pittsburgh waived Lemonious-Craig (lower body) with an injury designation Tuesday.

Lemonious-Craig will revert to IR if he goes unclaimed on waivers, in which case he'll be eligible to reach an injury settlement with the Steelers. The undrafted rookie out of Arizona ran a 4.4 40-yard dash during his pro day.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Sunday that McCaffrey has made a "jump" from Year 1 to Year 2, Bryan Manning of Commanders Wire reports.

A 2024 third-round pick, McCaffrey got playing time in the slot early in his rookie season, but he didn't do much with the snaps and saw his role decrease later in the year. He's back to compete for the No. 3 receiver role against Noah Brown, Jaylin Lane, Michael Gallup and K.J. Osborn. There's an opportunity for all of them to get extra first-team snaps while Terry McLaurin (ankle/contract) remains unavailable to practice.

McConkey (undisclosed) won't practice Tuesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

Coach Jim Harbaugh noted that the second-year wide receiver is "working through something minor," before adding that the traditional starters -- a group that includes McConkey -- won't suit up for Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Lions, per Rhim. As a result, McConkey may get the rest of this week off to get back to full health. Coming off a rookie campaign in which he racked up an 82-1,149-7 line on 112 targets in 16 regular-season games, he's poised to serve as Justin Herbert's top option in the Chargers' passing game in 2025.

Lane has taken some snaps with the first-team offense during training camp, Bryan Manning of Commanders Wire reports.

Lane was nearly the star of Sunday's practice, making an incredible catch over two defenders in the corner of the end zone on a pass from QB Jayden Daniels during an end-of-game drill. The rookie only got one foot in, but that didn't stop Daniels and other teammates from celebrating. In any case, Lane is unlikely to open his career as a starter, but his status as a fourth-round pick pretty much guarantees him a roster spot, and it's a good sign he's already mixing in with the first-team offense. Those opportunities to run with the starters may decline once Terry McLaurin (ankle / contract) is available and the season draws nearer. Lane is also a candidate for punt returns, given that he has 4.34 speed and scored twice on special teams during his college career.

Marshall (leg) left Tuesday's practice early with a limp and was evaluated in the medical tent, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.

Marshall has built some momentum early at training camp, but he may now be forced to miss some time because of the injury of unknown severity. He's competing to carve out a depth role behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith (back) and likely No. 3 receiver Jahan Dotson.

Samuel's alignments on offense have been varied during training camp, and he's also been getting work on kickoff returns, ESPN.com's John Keim reports.

With Terry McLaurin (ankle / contract) still not practicing, Samuel seems to be the top weapon for QB Jayden Daniels. Washington beat reporters have repeatedly mentioned Samuel being on the receiving end of Daniels' passes, although Keim notes that the Commanders' cornerbacks have more than held their own, often preventing the wideout from creating separation. That's an area where Samuel struggled with the 49ers last year, but he's reportedly rejuvenated with his new team ahead of his age-29 season. Even if separation remains a weak point, the Commanders should be able to figure out a role that works more to Samuel's strengths and emphasizes his tenacity with the ball in his hands.

Coach Andy Reid noted that Worthy exited Tuesday's practice after the wideout banged his head, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

It remains to be seen if Worthy ends up in the NFL's concussion protocol and in turn misses any time, but for now consider the wideout day-to day. Also forced to exit Tuesday's session was fellow WR Hollywood Brown, who is dealing with an ankle injury, per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site.
