Titans' Kendell Brooks: Goes on IR
Brooks (undisclosed) reverted to Tennessee's injured reserve Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
It's currently unclear what issue Brooks is dealing with, but he was waived/injured Sunday and subsequently cleared waivers. As such, he's been placed on season-ending IR. Brooks could still play in 2026, though, if he works out an injury settlement with the Titans.

Titans' Melvin Smith: Claimed off waivers by Tennessee
The Titans claimed Smith off waivers Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
The Chiefs waived Smith on Sunday. The cornerback suffered an injury in last Friday's preseason finale against the Seahawks, but has promptly recovered from the minor rib issue. Smith was likely claimed as additional secondary depth because Joshua Williams (pectoral) will miss at least the first four games of the regular season on injured reserve.

The Titans placed Mausi (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday with a designation to return during the regular season, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Mausi is dealing with an unknown injury. The linebacker will need to miss at least the first four games of the regular season on IR before he can rejoin the Titans' active roster. The second-year player out of Auburn played in all 17 games for the Titans his rookie season, logging 341 special teams snaps for nine tackles (five solo).

The Titans placed Williams (pectoral) on injured reserve Monday with a designation to return during the regular season, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Williams was unable to play in the Titans' final two preseason games due to a pectoral injury he is still recovering from. The cornerback will need to miss at least the first four games of the regular season on IR before he is permitted to rejoin the active roster. With Williams out, Micah Robinson is set to be the primary backup to Alontae Taylor and Cor'Dale Flott at outside cornerback.

Titans' Xavier Restrepo: Makes the team
Restrepo has made the Titans' initial 53-man roster, Arye Pulli reports Sunday.
Restrepo appeared in two games for the Titans in 2025 as a practice-squad elevation, totalling three receptions for 41 yards. The fan favorite has earned a place in the depths of the wide receiver corps and will likely have a shot to mix into starting packages throughout the regular season. Restrepo caught eight of his 13 targets for 97 yards over the Titans' three preseason games.

Titans' Will Levis: Solid showing to close preseason
Levis went 14-for-22 for 143 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed twice for one yard and fumbled once but recovered in the Titans' 24-15 preseason loss to the Bears on Saturday.
Levis drew the start and played the entire first half, leading the Titans to nine points in that span via three field goals with the help of a pair of double-digit-play drives. The 2023 second-round pick finished the preseason having completed 21 of 39 pass attempts for 200 yards without any touchdowns or interceptions, adding 10 carries for 38 yards. With Mitchell Trubisky sidelined with a biceps injury Saturday, Levis seemingly took advantage of his extended opportunity, but it remains to be seen whether it was enough to secure him the No. 2 quarterback job behind Cam Ward.

Titans' Chimere Dike: One catch in preseason finale
Dike secured one of two targets for nine yards in the Titans' 24-15 preseason loss to the Bears on Saturday.
The speedy second-year pro opened the game with the starting offense and saw both his targets from Will Levis during the Titans' second possession. Dike had one catch in each of Tennessee's three preseason games, posting a 3-28-0 line on four targets. Dike will open the season in a reserve receiver role with big-play potential after posting a 48-423-4 line across 17 regular-season games during his rookie 2025 campaign.
