  • Browns' Shedeur Sanders: Logs first-team reps Tuesday

Sanders, who worked with the Browns' first-team offense Tuesday for the third time in camp, had his best day thus far with that group, according to Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.

The report notes that in the process Sanders was "was largely on target and added a few high-level throws, which has become a pattern." Meanwhile, fellow QB Deshaun Watson -- who has been alternating first-team reps with Sanders by day -- continues to to deal with inconsistent accuracy, per Petrak. Watson will presumably handle first-team reps in the team's next practice, with the Browns' ongoing signal-caller competition likely to extend into the preseason. Cleveland's exhibition opener is Aug. 15 against the Bears.

  • Browns' Denzel Boston: Standing out at camp

Boston and KC Concepcion have made a strong impression at training camp, looking like the "best receivers on the field," according to SI.com's Nick Pedone.

It's only one week into training camp, and Cleveland's veteran wide receivers aren't exactly an impressive bunch. Still, it's better to hear this than the opposite if you're invested in Boston's success. The rookie second-round pick reportedly has been particularly impressive at hauling in jump balls and other contested catches, reflecting the positives from his pre-draft scouting report. It remains to be seen how much playing time Boston and Concepcion get come Week 1.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Limited to individual work Tuesday

Concepcion (shoulder) was limited to individual drills at Tuesday's practice, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

Concepcion landed hard on his right shoulder in Monday's practice but was present for the start of Tuesday's session, only to be limited to individual work. It still sounds like the rookie wideout is dealing with only a minor injury. The first-round rookie is expected to move all over the formation for Cleveland this season and has a chance to pace the Browns in receiving yards during his first season. He'll be competing for targets with Harold Fannin, Jerry Jeudy and second-round rookie Denzel Boston.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Present for practice

Concepcion (shoulder) was spotted in pads during the early stages of Tuesday's practice, Dan Labbe of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

It remains to be seen if Concepcion is deemed a full participant in the practice, but it's a good sign to see the wideout out there a day after he landed hard on his right shoulder. While coach Todd Monken previously noted that the wideout was "still sore" in the wake of Monday's session, Concepcion's presence on the field Tuesday supports the notion that he was able to avoid a concerning injury.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Tuesday practice status TBD

When asked about Concepcion's (shoulder) status for Tuesday's practice, coach Todd Monken said "we'll see," Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The report notes that Concepcion, who came down hard on his right shoulder during Monday's session, is "still sore" as of Tuesday, per Monken. On the plus side, the 2026 first-rounder appears to avoided a serious injury, but it looks like his practice participation may be be impacted in the short term.

  • Browns' Dillon Gabriel: In line for more reps

Browns head coach Todd Monken said Monday that Gabriel is on track to receive more reps in future practices after the second-year quarterback has had a strong start to training camp, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. "It's up to the player to take advantage and maximize those reps, which I feel like Dillon has done... If that continues, we'll continue to up his reps. I mean, he's earned that."

Heading into camp, Monken had narrowed down the competition for the starting quarterback gig to Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders. While Gabriel remains unlikely to factor into that job battle, the 25-year-old has done his part thus far to put himself in good standing to make the final roster as the No. 3 signal-caller. Cleveland invested a sixth-round pick on dual-threat quarterback Taylen Green in April, but Gabriel's productive start to camp could leave fewer reps with the second-team offense available to the rookie.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Reportedly avoids serious injury

Concepcion (shoulder), who was shaken up during Monday's practice, is believed to have avoided a serious injury, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Per the report, the Browns expect Concepcion, who appeared to sustain a right shoulder injury after a hard fall while trying to make a catch during the session, to be fine. With that in mind, consider the 2026 first-rounder, who has had a strong start to training camp, day-to-day as the team's Aug. 15 preseason opener against the Bears approaches.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Shaken up at practice Monday

Concepcion (shoulder) was shaken up while trying to make a catch during Monday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Per Oyefusi, the injury occurred during a two-minute drill, but Concepcion was able to walk off slowly afterward grabbing his right shoulder. Updates on the status of the 2026 first-rounder should emerge after Monday's practice, but when available, Concepcion is destined for a key role in a Browns WR corps that also features Jerry Jeudy and fellow rookie Denzel Boston.
