Ravens' Trey Hendrickson: Expected to play with cast on hand
Hendrickson has been diagnosed with a broken finger but is expected to suit up with a cast on his hand for Sunday's game against the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hendrickson drew the questionable tag for Sunday's home opener after logging a limited practice Friday, and it looks like the veteran pass rusher will play through the injury for the time being. Ravens' T.J. Tampa: Moved to IR
The Ravens placed Tampa (knee) on injured reserve Saturday.
Tampa was ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints due to his knee issue. The cornerback is the primary depth option for the Ravens' defense, meaning Chidobe Awuzie is now the primary backup if Marlon Humphrey or Nate Wiggins goes down with an injury. Tampa will now need to miss four games on IR before he is eligible to return to the active roster.

Ravens' Trey Hendrickson: Gets questionable tag for Week 2
Hendrickson (finger) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Hendrickson sat out for each of the first two practices of the week, but he was spotted at Friday's practice with two of his fingers wrapped in a session that he was limited in. The veteran pass rusher's official status may not be known until when the Ravens release their inactives list 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, though it would be a bit surprising to not see Hendrickson on the field for Baltimore's home opener. He logged one solo tackle and was credited with eight pressures in his Ravens debut against the Colts in a Week 1 win.

Wester is preparing for a larger role in the likely absence of Zay Flowers, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against New Orleans due to a hamstring injury, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Wester caught 252 passes during his college career at Florida Atlantic, but he's largely been a return specialist since the Ravens took him in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He should get some of the slot snaps in 11 personnel, which is where Flowers was dominating during last week's win over the Colts before a hamstring injury forced him to the sideline late in the second quarter. After finishing his rookie season with zero targets on 58 offensive snaps, Wester played 20 snaps last week and caught both of his targets for 15 yards.

With teammate Zay Flowers (hamstring) listed as doubtful, Bateman has a big opportunity Sunday against the Saints, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com opines.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson said that Bateman "is actually going to get a lot more targets, I believe." The Ravens may not have any other choice after losing Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane (wrist) to injuries during a Week 1 win over Indianapolis. Bateman played 80 percent of Baltimore's snaps in the contest, including 85 percent before halftime when Flowers and Lane were still in the game. Bateman likely will handle another lofty snap share this Sunday, and his target rate may rise with Flowers' usual snaps/routes being split between lesser players like Devontez Walker, LaJohntay Wester and Chris Moore.
