  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Listed as starting wideout

Jeudy is listed as a starting wide receiver on Cleveland's initial depth chart ahead of the team's Week 1 game against the Jaguars.

It comes as no surprise after the Browns cut Cedric Tillman at the end of training camp. Jeudy is listed as a starter alongside rookie wideouts KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Jeudy displayed no chemistry with Shedeur Sanders last season, as the veteran wideout finished 2025 with just 50 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns on 106 targets. His 47.2 percent catch rate was fifth worst out of 197 qualified pass catchers, and of the 38 players in the NFL to see at least 100 targets, Jeudy's 602 yards were just two more than Jake Ferguson at the bottom of the list. Concepcion is expected to become the go-to target in Cleveland, with Boston operating as the big-bodied X receiver. Jeudy will face far more competition for targets.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Not playing Saturday

Jeudy will not play in the Browns' preseason game against the Bills on Saturday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Jeudy played in the Browns' preseason opener against the Bears this past Saturday, when he caught both of his targets for 18 yards in a 34-10 loss. Jeudy, KC Concepcion and Cedric Tillman (undisclosed) will be sidelined against Buffalo, so Denzel Boston will lead the Browns' wide receiver corps, with Isaiah Bond, Tylan Wallace and Malachi Corley also in line for additional reps.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Past hamstring injury

Jeudy (hamstring) participated in Wednesday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Jeudy dealt with a hamstring issue during the spring, but he was out there as a full participant on the first day of training camp. The 27-year-old is coming off a disappointing 2025 campaign that saw him catch just 50 of 106 targets for 602 yards and two touchdowns across 17 regular-season games after he went for a 90-1,229-4 receiving line in the 2024 regular season. Facing stiffer competition for targets in the form of rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston while also dealing with quarterback issues, Jeudy is a wild-card fantasy bet headed into this season.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Held out of team drills

Jeudy (hamstring) didn't participate in team drills Thursday, Ashley Bastock of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, coach Todd Monken noted that Jeudy felt something in his hamstring Thursday, and as a result the Browns erred on the side of caution with the wideout on the final day of their mandatory minicamp. Jeudy -- who logged 50-602-2 line on 106 targets in 17 regular-season games last season -- should be past the issue by the time training camp starts, and looking ahead he'll continue to lead a Cleveland WR corps that's been bolstered by the addition of promising 2026 draftees KC Concepcion (Rd.1) and Denzel Boston (Rd. 2).
