Maye completed 19 of 21 passing attempts for 256 yards and five touchdowns while rushing three times for 22 yards in Sunday's 42-10 win over the Jets.

Maye and the rest of the starters should play as usual against the Dolphins with the No. 1 seed still in play for the Patriots.

Howell (coach's decision) is inactive but operating as the Eagles' emergency third quarterback Sunday versus the Bills.

Howell will once again serve as the team's No. 3 option at QB in Week 17. The 25-year-old will only be able to enter the game if both Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee are sidelined.

O'Connell will not be allowed to play Sunday unless both Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett were to be taken out of the game due to injury, illness or ejection. O'Connell has yet to see regular-season action in 2025.

Milroe (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Seahawks' emergency third quarterback against the Panthers on Sunday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Milroe will be the QB3 while Drew Lock serves as Sam Darnold's backup. As such, Milore is not allowed to play Sunday unless both Darnold and Lock were to leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection. Milroe hasn't played since Week 5 against the Buccaneers.

Bazelak (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins but will serve as the Buccaneers' emergency third quarterback, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Bazelak will continue in his typical role as the No. 3 quarterback behind Baker Mayfield and Teddy Bridgewater. The reserve QB will be able to enter the game only if both quarterbacks on the active roster exit due to injury, illness or ejection.

Gabriel (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Gabriel finds himself inactive for the first time this season, and his shoulder injury appears to be severe enough to prevent him from backing up fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders in Sunday's contest. Bailey Zappe will serve as Sanders' understudy this week.

Browning (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Bengals' emergency third quarterback against the Cardinals on Sunday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Browning won't be allowed to see the field Sunday unless both Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco were to be taken out of the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

Tagovailoa is listed as the Dolphins' emergency third QB for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

As a result, Quinn Ewers and Zach Wilson are Miami's active signal-callers versus Tampa Bay. The Dolphins, who have been eliminated from playoff contention, close their 2025 season next weekend against the Patriots.
