For a second consecutive week, Ehlinger will be the emergency QB3 behind Bo Nix and backup Jarrett Stidham. Ehlinger is prohibited from playing Sunday unless both Nix and Stidham were to leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

Harvey (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Susanna Weir of the Broncos' official site reports.
Harvey opened Week 2 prep as a non-participant on the Broncos' initial injury report due to a hamstring issue, which he followed up with back-to-back limited sessions and a questionable designation entering the weekend. Having said that, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday morning that Harvey was unlikely to play, and that's been confirmed as Denver posted its list of inactives. J.K. Dobbins will pace the backfield Sunday, while rookie Jonah Coleman and Tyler Badie also will be on hand for RB reps.

Harvey was able to practice on a limited basis Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday's session, but it appears he will not be able to give it a go in Week 2. The Broncos and Jaguars will not kick off until 4:05 p.m. ET, so unfortunately for fantasy players Harvey's availability for Sunday's game will not officially be revealed until after the early wave of games gets underway. Rookie Jonah Coleman could see more time behind J.K. Dobbins if Harvey is unable to suit up.
Mims (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Mims played just nine snaps on offense in a Week 1 loss at Kansas City, running six routes without seeing a target. His absence may leave a few more snaps for Troy Franklin, but the bigger impact for Denver will be on special teams, especially if RJ Harvey (questionable - hamstring) also ends up inactive. The team could look to the practice squad for a punt returner, while kick returns figure to be handled primarily by backup RBs Jonah Coleman and Tyler Badie.

Mims has now missed back-to-back practices to open the week while dealing with a foot injury. If Mims can't go against the Jaguars, it would carry the largest impact on special teams for Denver.

Harvey opened Week 2 prep with no listed activity on Wednesday's injury report due to a hamstring issue, but one day later he upgraded his workload enough to go down as a limited participant. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will unveil whether or not he heads into the weekend without a designation for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars. In Monday's loss at Kansas City, Harvey paced Denver's backfield with 26 offensive snaps (to J.K. Dobbins' 22), but Harvey managed just seven touches for 41 yards from scrimmage, while Dobbins turned eight carries into 36 yards.

Harvey was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, but he's set to participate in at least some capacity now that Denver's actually holding practice Thursday. The 2025 second-round pick turned seven touches into 41 yards from scrimmage in Monday's loss to the Chiefs and got all four targets among Denver's running backs while J.K. Dobbins took most of the rushing work. Harvey's availability bears monitoring ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars.
