  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Not expected to practice Tuesday

Henderson (ankle) is not expected to practice Tuesday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

It was revealed earlier Tuesday that an ankle injury forced Henderson from Monday's practice session, and it appears he will not get any work in a day later. Henderson is reportedly moving fine, but Patriots Executive Vice President Eliot Wolf indicated the team is still "working through the situation," so his status remains a bit up in the air at the moment.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Dealing with minor ankle injury

Henderson has been diagnosed with a lower right ankle injury and will undergo further "precautionary" tests, Christopher Price of the Boston Globe reports.

Henderson is "walking and moving fine," according to Price, after the second-year running back was dinged up in Monday's practice when he slipped on the turf. Henderson was already expected to rest for the preseason finale. He may not practice the remainder of the week, but it sounds like Henderson has a good chance of suiting up for the Patriots' regular-season opener against Seahawks on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

  • Patriots' Bryce Baringer: Week 1 status uncertain

Baringer picked up an unspecified injury during the Patriots' 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Baringer punted twice for 91 yards before being pulled from Saturday's exhibition contest with an undisclosed injury, putting him in jeopardy of missing the Patriots' Week 1 clash against the Seahawks on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Matt Haack was signed by the Patriots on Monday to serve as the team's punter in Baringer's absence, per Reiss.

  • Patriots' Jaylen Reed: Traded to Pats

Reed was traded from the Texans to the Patriots on Monday in exchange for wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

New England also landed a draft pick in the deal with Houston, per Pelissero. Reed was a sixth-round selection of the Texans in 2025, but he only played in seven regular-season games as a rookie due to two stints on IR. He should have a chance to compete for a depth and special-teams role in New England.

  • Patriots' Christian Gonzalez: Full-go in practice Monday

Gonzalez (ankle) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.

The Patriots got one of the key pieces of their defense back on the practice field Monday, as Gonzalez was a full participant after recovering from an ankle issue. The star cornerback, who remains in negotiations with the team on a contract extension, missed several practices and both of the first two preseason games due to the injury, but he now appears to have moved past the issue.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Exits practice with lower leg issue

Henderson left Monday's practice with a right lower leg issue, Mike Kadlick of Sports Illustrated reports.

More updates will be available after practice regarding the extent of Henderson's injury. As long as the issue doesn't linger, Henderson is on track to combine with Rhamondre Stevenson in a New England backfield that should provide enough touches for both players to merit fantasy lineup consideration this coming season.

  • Patriots' Lan Larison: Not practicing Monday

Larison (undisclosed) will not practice Monday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Larison is among several Patriots who are banged up and not practicing Monday, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. The running back out of UC Davis is battling for a roster spot and performed well in the Patriots' most recent preseason game, particularly as a pass catcher out of the backfield. New England's preseason finale is set for Thursday, so the hope is Larison will be available to make one more impression on the staff before roster cutdowns.

  • Patriots' Behren Morton: Solid in extended action Saturday

Morton completed 13 of 17 passes for 129 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions while rushing once for minus-1 yard in the Patriots' 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.

The 2026 seventh-round pick followed Tommy DeVito into the game and finished out the Patriots victory by throwing a game-winning 37-yard touchdown pass to Nick DeGennaro. Given DeVito's experience edge, Morton projects to serve as an emergency third quarterback throughout the 2026 season barring injuries to the former or Drake Maye, but Morton could play close to the full game in the preseason finale on the road against the Browns on Thursday.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Bounces back in preseason win

Borregales made his only field-goal attempt, from 41 yards out, and connected on all three extra-point tries in the Patriots' 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.

Borregales had a shaky preseason opener against the Colts where he misfired on three field-goal attempts, but the UM product was able to convert every opportunity presented to him Saturday. Borregales does ostensibly have some slack after posting respective 84.4 percent and 96.4 percent success rates on field goals and PATs as a rookie in 2025, following up those solid numbers by making four of six field-goal attempts and all seven extra-point tries in New England's four-game postseason run.

  • Patriots' Kyle Williams: Flashes speed on long TD

Williams brought in two of six targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.

Williams started the game while working with Tommy DeVito as his quarterback, but the duo failed to connect on the first two passes that went the fleet-footed wideout's way on the opening possession. They would eventually make up for it in the latter portion of the second quarter, when Williams hauled in a long pass down the right sideline and took it an additional 35 yards for a 69-yard touchdown. Williams' elite speed is unquestioned, but whether he can develop down-to-down consistency and tunnel up a deep wide-receiver depth chart still remains to be seen.

  • Patriots' Marcus Bryant: Ruled out with ankle injury

Bryant has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's preseason game against the Eagles due to an ankle injury, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Bryant sustained the injury on the Patriots' first offensive drive of the game. He had to be helped off the field by trainers before going to the locker room, where he'll undergo more tests to determine the severity of his injury. Dametrious Crownover has taken over at right tackle for Bryant.
