Molina (2-0) earned the win Monday against Atlanta, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out six over five innings.

Making his third career start and first as a Giant, Molina threw 54 of 75 pitches for strikes and generated 18 whiffs while setting a career high with six strikeouts against his former team. He allowed a run in the first and a leadoff homer to Michael Harris in the second before retiring 10 straight batters, including five consecutive strikeouts, then surrendered his final run in the fifth. Molina has earned the win in both of his appearances for the Giants, allowing three runs across 9.1 innings with a 7:1 K:BB. With San Francisco far from playoff contention, the right-hander should get an opportunity to show what he can do during this last month of the season.

Jobe (1-2) took the loss against the Twins on Monday, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out four.

It was a shaky outing all around by Jobe, who served up a pair of home runs and two doubles as well. On a positive note, the 24-year-old right-hander did touch the 90-pitch marker for the first time this season, an important milestone amid his comeback from Tommy John surgery in May of 2025. He'll be looking to get back on track over the weekend in Cleveland, carrying a rocky 4.63 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB over his first 23.1 innings.

Woods Richardson was sent outright to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.

Woods Richardson lost his spot on the 40-man roster Friday, and he'll remain with the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. Woods Richardson owns a 6.68 ERA and 1.76 WHIP with 40 strikeouts across 66.0 innings this season with the Blue Jays.

Morris will serve as the Twins' opening pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Morris is set to serve as the opener for the third time this season. He last started June 4, when he allowed two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out two over two innings against the Royals. Connor Prielipp is a candidate to follow Morris as the primary pitcher out of the bullpen.

Bradley (10-6) notched the win against the Tigers on Monday, allowing one run on four hits and three walks in seven innings. He struck out nine.

Hao-Yu Lee left the lone blemish in Bradley's line with a sixth-inning solo shot in an otherwise dominant performance by the hurler. Control remains a bit of an issue for the right-hander, who has walked multiple hitters in nine of his last 10 starts, but he's tallied at least seven punchouts in three straight outings. He's scheduled to close a two-start week against the White Sox this weekend in Chicago, where he'll take a 3.85 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 178:66 K:BB over 154.1 innings.

Shaw went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 17-3 win over the Brewers.

Playing all nine innings for the first time since returning from the injured list Friday, Shaw also hit his first home run since June and just his fifth of the season. The 24-year-old missed two months due to a sprained left hand, but now that he's back, he gives the Cubs a versatile option to use across the field. Shaw's playing time may be too inconsistent to move the needle for fantasy managers in the short term, however.

Kelly went 3-for-5 with a walk, a solo home run and two total RBI in Monday's 17-3 win over the Brewers

Kelly hit one of nine Chicago home runs in the rout, launching his 10th long ball of the season in the seventh inning. The veteran Chicago catcher has now recorded double figures in homers in consecutive seasons for the first time in his MLB career. Kelly has largely held off Miguel Amaya for the starting role with the Cubs, and he's been a fairly solid offensive backstop for fantasy managers the last two years.

Lile went 3-for-3 with a pair of two-run home runs and a walk in Monday's 6-3 win over Miami.

Monday marked Lile's fourth multi-homer game of the season. The outfielder is tearing the cover off the ball over his last 11 games, during which he's batting .450 with five long balls, three doubles, one triple, 15 RBI and one stolen base covering his last 40 at-bats. He's hit safely in eight of his last nine outings as well.

The Yankees are hopeful that Weathers (forearm) will be cleared to resume throwing at some point this week, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Manager Aaron Boone had previously reported that Weathers, who landed on the 15-day IL on Aug. 23 with a left forearm flexor strain, would be shut down from throwing for 2-to-4 weeks. While it seems the lefty is ahead of the team's initial timeline, he'll likely need a few weeks to work through a throwing program and ensure a full recovery.

Suzuki went 3-for-5 with a walk, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Monday's 17-3 win over the Brewers

Suzuki had a rare 0-for-5 game Sunday, but he got right back into the groove Monday. The outfielder recorded his third three-hit effort across his last four contests, and he finishes August batting .303 with a sharp .957 OPS in 27 games. With a prime spot in the heart of a potent Chicago lineup, Suzuki should remain one of the top offensive performers in fantasy baseball during the stretch run.
