  • Braves' Anthony Molina: Recalled from Gwinnett

Atlanta recalled Molina from Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday. Molina will return to the majors to give Atlanta's bullpen some extra depth as Spencer Strider (elbow) moves to the injured list. Molina pitched two shutout innings during his lone appearance with the big club May 1 but still carries a 6.82 ERA and 1.59 WHIP across his MLB career.

  • Braves' Anthony Molina: Recalled from Triple-A

Atlanta recalled Molina from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday. Molina made one scoreless appearance for Atlanta earlier this season but has spent most of the year at Gwinnett, where he's posted a 4.50 ERA and 28:11 K:BB over 30 innings covering five starts and four relief outings. • Rockies' Anthony Molina: Serves up five homers

Molina (0-1) took the loss Tuesday, allowing seven runs on nine hits and a walk over five innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out two. Molina made it through five innings Tuesday, but surrendering five home runs proved costly in the Rockies' loss. • Rockies' Anthony Molina: Receives call-up

The Rockies recalled Molina from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday. Molina made 35 appearances (one start) with the Rockies as a Rule 5 selection in 2024, but he's made the move to the rotation at Albuquerque this season. Over his seven starts, Molina has produced a 9.20 ERA, 2.39 WHIP and 23:18 K:BB in 30.1 innings. The Rockies have an opening in the rotation after optioning Bradley Blalock to Albuquerque in a corresponding move, but Molina is expected to serve as a long man out of the Colorado bullpen.

  • Rockies' Anthony Molina: Starting Monday against Guardians

Molina will start Monday's game against the Guardians, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports. With Austin Gomber (arm) scratched, Molina will step in for his first career MLB start. A Rule 5 pick by the Rockies last winter, Molina has pitched to a 7.56 ERA and 1.80 WHIP in nine appearances so far this season. He's maxed out at 3.2 innings in an outing, so this will now be a bullpen day for Colorado.

He did finish 2022 strong at High-A Bowling Green and figures to begin 2023 at Double-A Montgomery.
