Romo, who has taken over starting catcher duties for the White Sox, is taking a seat Tuesday while Edgar Quero starts behind the plate, batting ninth.

Raley is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox.

The White Sox have southpaw Anthony Kay starting Tuesday, so the left-handed bat of Raley will begin the game from the bench. Connor Joe has the start in right field and is batting sixth.

The Diamondbacks selected Garcia's contract from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Garcia will recapture a spot on the 26-man active roster following James McCann's (quadriceps) move to the injured list Tuesday. The 33-year-old Garcia has hit well in the minors this season, slashing .244/.404/.533 across 57 plate appearances, but he isn't likely to receive consistent playing time in the big leagues while acting as the backup catcher behind Gabriel Moreno.

The Diamondbacks placed McCann (quad) on the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

McCann suffered a quad strain while legging out a single in Monday's contest, and his injury will sideline him for at least another 10 days. Aramis Garcia was selected from Triple-A Reno in a corresponding move to provide depth behind the plate, though Gabriel Moreno should continue to receive the majority of the starts at catcher.

Crawford is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox.

The White Sox are starting southpaw Anthony Kay, so the left-handed bat of Crawford will take a seat. Colt Emerson has the start at short and is batting ninth.

The Blue Jays recalled Lee from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.

The right-hander was up with Toronto for one day in late April and gave up one run over 1.1 innings versus Boston. Lee has a 1.83 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB across 19.2 innings for Buffalo this season.

Canzone is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox.

The White Sox are sending southpaw Anthony Kay to the mound to start, so the left-handed-hitting Canzone will take a seat to begin the game. Rob Refsnyder starts as the designated hitter, batting leadoff.

Clement has strep throat and is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Clement started the previous 15 games but will hit the bench after feeling the strep symptoms come on Monday. Davis Schneider is stepping in at second base Tuesday for Toronto.

Holliday will start at second base and bat seventh in Tuesday's game versus the Rays.

Holliday will be making his season debut for the Orioles after undergoing surgery in February to repair a fractured right hamate bone and then encountering multiple setbacks along the way. Per Andy Kostka of TheBanner.com, Holliday said he still feels a bit of soreness in his hand, but he's been told that it's not a concern and will eventually go away. Holliday was the Orioles' leadoff hitter for the bulk of last season, but he will slide into the No. 7 spot as the club eases him back into the mix. The 22-year-old slashed just .176/.291/.284 on his rehab assignment, though he reached base seven times and had one home run in his final four rehab games.

The Cubs designated Blach for assignment Tuesday.

Blach spun three scoreless innings out of the Cubs' bullpen Monday against the Brewers in his lone appearance for the club, and his reward is being jettisoned from the 26-man and 40-man rosters. The lefty will likely clear waivers, and if that happens, he would have the ability to decline an outright assignment and become a free agent.
