Rave went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI in the 9-7 win Wednesday over the Athletics.

Rave came into the game in the fifth inning as a pinch hitter for Jac Caglianone, who left the game with right ankle soreness. In the eighth inning, Rave hit a bases-clearing double off of Drew Rom to give the Royals an 8-5 lead. The 28-year-old outfielder was expected to see a decrease in playing time due to the recent return of first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino (wrist) moving Caglianone back to right field. However, Rave could have an expanded role going forward if Caglianone has to miss time, though the extent of the latter's injury remains unclear.

Naylor went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Brewers.

Naylor delivered a two-run single in the second inning before notching his 25th steal in the seventh. The first baseman has now hit safely in nine straight contests, posting four multi-hit efforts along with two home runs, six RBI and five runs scored over that stretch. On the season, he's slashing .270/.333/.375 with 10 homers, 46 RBI, 47 runs scored and 25 stolen bases across 506 plate appearances.

Ortiz went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Mariners.

Ortiz provided most of the Brewers' offense, driving in the team's first four runs over three plate appearances. The 28-year-old has now hit safely in six of his past seven games, tallying two home runs, eight RBI and seven runs scored during that stretch. For the season, he's slashing .252/.318/.383 with seven homers, 37 RBI, 36 runs scored and eight steals across 312 plate appearances.

Muncy went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Royals.

For his first home run since rejoining the team from Triple-A Las Vegas in early August, Muncy smashed a long ball to left field to make the score 9-7 in the ninth. The third baseman has struggled since being brought back to the majors for an injured Nick Kurtz (thumb). The 23-year-old Muncy has gone 7-for-35 (.200) with only four RBI and 10 strikeouts in 12 contests.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs scored Wednesday against the Tigers.

Lowe capped a dramatic win for Pittsburgh on Wednesday, blasting a walk-off home run against Kenley Jansen in the ninth inning. That marked the second baseman's fourth long ball of August, though he's also struck out at a 38.2 percent clip while hitting just .229 across 18 games. Lowe now has 27 homers on the season and has also reached 80 RBI for a second consecutive campaign.

Gilbert (10-7) earned the win against the Brewers on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Gilbert was spotted an early lead and battled enough to win despite throwing just 58 of 100 pitches for strikes and matching a season high with four walks. While it wasn't his best performance, the 29-year-old has now yielded three earned runs or fewer in each of his six outings since the All-Star break, posting four quality starts and going 3-1 during that span. He'll take a 3.35 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 157:37 K:BB across 150.1 innings this season into a home matchup with the Phillies next week.

May (6-8) took the loss against the Mariners on Wednesday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout over two innings.

May allowed an average exit velocity of just 76.9 mph, but he lacked command and generated only two whiffs while needing 66 pitches to complete just two innings. It ended a hot stretch for the 28-year-old, who entered the game having allowed four earned runs over his previous four outings, including quality starts in each of his first two appearances with his new club. He owns a 4.57 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 118:42 K:BB across 124 innings with the Brewers and Cardinals this season and will aim to rebound in a road matchup with the Mets next week.

Gelof went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 9-7 loss to Kansas City.

Gelof was handed the start in left field Wednesday instead of his usual third-base position as Max Muncy occupied that spot. The 26-year-old Gelof extended the lead to 2-0 in the first with an RBI single off Seth Lugo. This is his fourth start in left field since returning from the injured list Aug. 10, but Gelof has also gotten starts at third base (twice), second base (once), and designated hitter (twice).

Baker threw a perfect ninth inning to notch the save Wednesday against Toronto. He struck out one.

The All-Star closer continued his masterful campaign, turning in his 25th consecutive save Wednesday. He's been scored upon just one time in his last 18 outings, as well. Baker sports a 1.44 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 56:16 K:BB with an MLB-leading 36 saves in 39 attempts across 50 innings this year.

Munoz earned the save in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Brewers, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Munoz was called on to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning and did so on just nine pitches. The 27-year-old has now converted back-to-back save chances following a blowup appearance Friday, and he's held opponents scoreless in nine of 12 outings since the All-Star break. On the year, he's 23-for-30 in save opportunities to go along with a 4.27 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 73:18 K:BB across 46.1 innings.
