Henriquez walked two batters and struck out one in a scoreless relief inning versus the Cubs on Sunday.

After Justin Wrobleski gave the Dodgers six scoreless frames, Henriquez took the mound in the seventh. The right-hander threw only 11 of his 24 pitches for strikes and issued a pair of free passes, but he managed to escape the inning without being scored upon. Henriquez has flashed big-time heat again this season, as his fastball velocity is averaging 100.5 mph. That hasn't yet led to massive strikeout numbers -- he has a 9:5 K:BB through 8.1 frames spanning nine outings -- but Henriquez does seem to have established a low-leverage role in the Dodgers bullpen. He doesn't have a hold or a save on his ledger, but over his past six appearances he's yielded only one earned run across 5.1 innings.

Morgan retired only one batter and gave up four runs on four hits in a relief outing Sunday versus Arizona.

Michael King started and pitched six strong frames for the Padres before turning the ball over to Morgan in the seventh. That didn't go well for San Diego, as Morgan yielded four straight one-out hits -- three singles and a grand slam -- to allow Arizona to cut its deficit from five runs to one. The Diamondbacks ended up scoring twice more in the inning to take a lead they never relinquished. Morgan began the campaign well with 10.1 consecutive scoreless frames despite a 10:7 K:BB over his first seven outings, but he's since given up at least two runs in each of his past three appearances. That's pushed his season numbers to a 5.68 ERA and 2.05 WHIP through 12.2 innings.

The Mets promoted Ewing from Double-A Binghamton to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

One of the top-ranked prospects in the organization, Ewing has continued running wild at Double-A so far this season while also further refining his plate discipline. After ranking fourth in the minors with 70 steals across three stops in 2025, Ewing went 12-for-13 on stolen-base attempts through 18 games with Binghamton this season. Perhaps more significantly, Ewing raised his walk rate from 5.5 percent over 28 games at Binghamton last season to 21.2 percent in 2026, which helped the 21-year-old to maintain a .349/.481/.571 slash line across 81 plate appearances. Ewing will now receive a stiffer test in the International League, but if he continues to make contact and draw walks at steady clips during his time at Syracuse, he could receive his first big-league call-up at some point in the second half of the season.

Soto went 1-for-5 with three walks across both games of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

The Mets' offense managed just one run between the two losses, but Soto did his part to try and spark some offense. The 27-year-old superstar has yet to play defense since returning from a calf strain April 22, going 3-for-15 in the last five games without a run or an RBI but producing a 6:2 BB:K as he gets his timing back at the plate.

Caissie went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

The 23-year-old outfielder has gone 19 straight games without a home run, a slump that has seen him manage just a .164/.217/.236 slash line with five RBI and a brutal 48.3 percent strikeout rate. With Esteury Ruiz off the IL, Caissie could begin to see his playing time slip until he figures out big-league pitching.

Kim (finger) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Columbus this week, Grant McAuley of the Marietta Daily Journal reports.

Kim has finally been cleared to play in games following surgery in January to address a torn tendon in his right middle finger. He's basically at the start of spring training, so Kim's rehab assignment should be a lengthy one. Kim will be in line for the bulk of the playing time at shortstop when he returns, though Mauricio Dubon has played well as a fill-in and will still see action at shortstop as part of a utility role.

Stowers got the start at first base Sunday and went 0-for-4 in a loss to the Giants.

It was the 28-year-old's first career action at first base, and his first 239 big-league games all came in the outfield or at DH. Stowers could get a longer look at the position as the Marlins search for a long-term answer, but Connor Norby appears to be manager Clayton McCullough's first choice for now. In six games since recovering from a hamstring strain and making his belated 2026 debut. Stowers is batting .273 (6-for-22) with three doubles, but he's still looking for his first homer and first RBI.

Harris went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

Making his second straight start at DH, Harris saw a seven-game hitting streak come to an end. The 25-year-old has yet to play defense since picking up a minor quadriceps strain Thursday, but Monday's team off day could provide the time he needs to get back to 100 percent. On the season, Harris is slashing .323/.360/.559 with six homers, two steals, 11 runs and 20 RBI in 27 contests.

White went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

The depth outfielder took Aaron Nola deep in the second inning for his second long ball of the season. White has started the last two games in center field while Michael Harris has been limited to DH due to a minor quad issue, but he could head back to the bench as soon as Tuesday, after a team off day Monday. On the season, White is slashing .194/.211/.389 in 38 plate appearances.

Acuna went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

The steal was Acuna's sixth of the season in 29 games, albeit in 10 attempts. While it's encouraging to see the 28-year-old outfielder running more freely -- it took him 95 games to record 10 SB attempts in 2025 -- Acuna's bat hasn't gotten going yet, as he's slashing .239/.356/.358 with two homers, eight RBI and 14 runs.
