  • Jhoan Duran RP | PHI

Phillies' Jhoan Duran: Blows save, collects win

Duran (7-6) allowed one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one over one inning, taking a blown save but picking up the win Monday versus the Dodgers.

Duran allowed a game-tying solo shot to Andy Pages in the ninth inning of this back-and-forth contest. This was Duran's fourth blown save of the season, two of which have come with the Phillies. However, he's allowed just four runs (three earned) over 16.2 innings for Philadelphia, providing reliable pitching in the closer role. Overall, he's picked up 30 saves with a 1.91 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 75:19 K:BB through 66 innings this season.

  • Ranger Suarez SP | BOS

Phillies' Ranger Suarez: Turns in quality start

Suarez allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Monday.

Suarez wasn't at his best, allowing a solo home run to Max Muncy and a pair of sacrifice flies to Mookie Betts, but it was still enough for a quality start. This was the first time in five starts Suarez has allowed multiple runs -- he's surrendered just four runs over 30 innings in that span. For the season, he's produced a 2.84 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 145:37 K:BB through 149 innings over 24 starts. The veteran southpaw is projected for a home start versus the Marlins next week if the Phillies continue to deploy a six-man rotation.

  • Giants' Casey Schmitt: Provides lone run in loss

Schmitt went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Schmitt was the only Giant to hit safely in this game, which included his third-inning solo shot for the team's lone run. He had gone cold over the weekend, going 0-for-10 with two walks in three games against the Dodgers. Schmitt is up to 11 homers this year while adding 37 RBI, 30 runs scored, 14 doubles and a .240/.308/.406 slash line across 86 contests. He has not attempted a stolen base in 2025.

  • Kai-Wei Teng RP | HOU

Giants' Kai-Wei Teng: Decent in no-decision

Teng allowed one unearned run on two hits and a walk while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Teng gave up a run in the first inning but generally allowed the Giants to keep things close before the bullpen had a rough night. This was Teng's first appearance in over a week after he allowed four runs on three hits and five walks versus the Cardinals on Sept. 7. The right-hander is now at a 6.41 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 33:15 K:BB through 26.2 innings over seven appearances (six starts) in the majors this season. The Giants' rotation has been in flux recently, but Teng would next be available to pitch on normal rest in the back half of this weekend's four-game road series versus the Dodgers.

  • Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Gets on base five times

Perdomo went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double, two walks, two RBI and one run scored in Monday's 8-1 win over the Giants.

Perdomo was productive all throughout this contest, extending his hitting streak to six games. He's gone 10-for-19 with four extra-base hits, seven walks and six RBI in that span. The shortstop's hot hitting has him up to a .290/.391/.462 slash line for the year, and he's added 19 homers, five triples, 28 doubles, 97 RBI, 93 runs scored and 26 stolen bases over 150 games.

  • James McCann C | ARI

Diamondbacks' James McCann: Homers again Monday

McCann went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 8-1 win over the Giants.

This was McCann's second straight game with a homer, and he's gone 6-for-15 over four contests in September. While his playing time has remained limited as backup to Gabriel Moreno, McCann continues to be productive in his rare chances to enter the lineup. McCann is at a .257/.327/.446 slash line with five homers, 15 RBI, 16 runs scored and four doubles across 36 games this season.

  • Zac Gallen SP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Zac Gallen: Sharp in Monday's win

Gallen (12-14) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings to earn the win over the Giants on Monday.

Gallen was stingy despite throwing just 57 of 96 pitches for strikes, with the lone run on his line being the result of a Casey Schmitt solo home run in the third inning. This was Gallen's fifth quality start in his last six outings, the lone exception being his five-run appearance in San Francisco last week. Gallen is now at a 4.73 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 163:61 K:BB across 180.2 innings over 31 starts this season, though he has a 2.68 ERA in 53.2 innings through his last nine outings. He's projected for a tough home start versus the Phillies this weekend.

  • Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Three-RBI double seals win

Stephenson went 2-for-4 with a three-RBI double and a run scored in Monday's 11-6 victory over the Cardinals.

Stephenson broke the game open Monday with a bases-clearing double in the ninth inning. That pushed his season total to 17 doubles as he works toward reaching 20 or more for the fourth time in his big-league career.

  • Sal Stewart 1B | CIN

Reds' Sal Stewart: Continues to mash

Stewart went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two additional runs scored in Monday's victory over the Cardinals.

Stewart delivered the second three-hit effort of his young career Monday, starting it off with a 112.6 mph blast over the left-field wall. The highly-touted prospect hasn't drawn a walk yet but continues to hammer the ball at the major-league level, slashing .297/.297/.622 with four homers and six RBI through his first 11 games.

  • Cardinals' Matthew Liberatore: Goes six innings Monday

Liberatore did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk over six innings against the Reds. He struck out six.

Liberatore didn't pick up the win Monday but did log six innings for the first time since June 29. The southpaw has flashed stretches of success but struggles to sustain it at the big-league level, carrying a 4.30 ERA and 1.31 WHIP across a career-high 28 starts and 146.2 innings this season.
