Abbott (4-2) picked up the win Wednesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks over 5.1 innings during a 9-4 victory over the Phillies. He struck out three.

The southpaw dealt with traffic on the bases in every inning before finally being lifted after 96 pitches (64 strikes) following a solo shot by Alec Bohm, but the Reds gave Abbott more than enough run support to record his third straight win and fourth consecutive winning decision. He's given up two earned runs or fewer in all five of his outings during that latter stretch, posting a 1.29 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 19:13 K:BB over his last 28 innings. Abbott will look to keep rolling in his next start, which lines up to come on the road early next week against the Mets.

Davis is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.

Davis will head to the bench after starting behind the plate in each of the previous three games while going 0-for-9 with two strikeouts. Now batting just .137 on the season, Davis could be at risk of falling into more of a timeshare at catcher with Endy Rodriguez, who draws the starting nod Wednesday.

Triolo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.

Triolo will head to the bench after wrapping up a six-game stretch in which he made two starts apiece at three different positions -- first base, third base and right field -- and went a collective 7-for-18 with a walk, a stolen base, an RBI and a run. The Pirates should have a regular spot in the lineup available for Triolo against left-handed pitching, but his playing time versus righties may be more sporadic. Pittsburgh has an opening in its everyday lineup while Ryan O'Hearn (quadriceps) is on the shelf, but manager Don Kelly could prefer to rotate the likes of Triolo, Jake Mangum and Jhostynxon Garcia at that spot rather than leaning exclusively on one player.

Ozuna is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in St. Louis.

The Cardinals are sending Michael McGreevy to the bump, marking the second time in a row that the right-handed-hitting Ozuna has been absent from the lineup against a righty. Oneil Cruz will get a start at designated hitter for the Pirates, and Jhostynxon Garcia will patrol center field.

Caissie is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Miami will keep the left-handed-hitting Caissie on the bench for the second straight night while Atlanta goes with another lefty starting pitcher (Chris Sale). Javier Sanoja will step in for Caissie as Miami's starting right fielder.

Marsee is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Marsee will be relegated to the bench for the second day in a row while Atlanta sends another lefty (Chris Sale) to the bump. The Marlins will go with Esteury Ruiz as Marsee's replacement in center field.

Mack is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

After drawing a start against lefty Martin Perez in Tuesday's 8-4 loss, Mack will hit the bench while Atlanta sends another southpaw (Chris Sale) to the hill Wednesday. Liam Hicks will handle catching duties in place of Mack, who is batting .205 with six RBI and six runs through his first 14 games following his May 4 call-up to the majors.

Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer said Wednesday that Dollander (elbow) will be shut down from throwing for the next 2-to-3 weeks, MLB.com reports.

Dollander landed on the 15-day injured list last week due to a right elbow sprain. He will opt for a rest-and-rehab treatment plan for the time being, though it will take a while for Dollander to rebuild his stamina following the shutdown period. A timetable for Dollander's return won't become clearer until he starts ramping up his throwing again.

Stowers is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus Atlanta.

The left-handed-hitting Stowers was in the lineup versus southpaw Martin Perez on Tuesday, but he will take a seat Wednesday as Atlanta sends lefty ace Chris Sale to the hill. Heriberto Hernandez will net a start in left field for the Marlins.

Winn (knee) will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Wednesday's contest against the Pirates.

Winn had to sit out Tuesday's contest with a left knee injury, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in the second game of the series after an MRI came back negative. The Gold Glove shortstop enters play Tuesday having slashed just .230/.298/.297 across his last 20 tilts.
