Frias went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a game with Single-A Wilson on Wednesday.

A sizzling stretch that included a 6-for-6 night with Milwaukee's Arizona Complex league club earned Frias a promotion to the Single-A level, and after swiping three bags in his Wilson debut Tuesday, he went yard for the first time a day later. The 18-year-old has firmly put himself on the prospect map, and he has the potential to keep rising up the ranks.

Cronenworth (concussion) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso on Thursday.

Cronenworth has been on the concussion injured list since mid-April when he was struck in the chin by a pitch. With his symptoms finally abated, he's been cleared to test things out in a game setting. The length of Cronenworth's rehab assignment could depend on how he looks and feels, but since he's missed so much time, he'll likely need several games to knock off the rust.

The Mets recalled Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.

He's taking the roster spot vacated by Marcus Semien (hip), who was placed on the injured list earlier Thursday. Mauricio could see some action at second base while Semien is out, though Brett Baty is likely to be the primary option at the keystone. Mauricio is 7-for-32 with one home run and a 0:12 BB:K over 10 games at the big-league level in 2026.

The Mets recalled Duarte from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.

Duarte will join the big club for the third time this season to provide the Mets with additional bullpen depth while the team works through how to replace the recently traded David Peterson in the rotation. Duarte has given up just one hit and one walk while striking out three batters in five scoreless innings in the majors this season.

The Mets placed Semien on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left hip flexor strain.

Semien played every inning of both legs of Wednesday's doubleheader but evidently picked up a hip injury in the process. It's not clear at this point how long the veteran infielder will be sidelined. Brett Baty will likely see the bulk of the reps at second base while Semien is out.

The Mets returned Pintaro to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.

Pintaro was added to the active roster as the 27th man for Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cubs, and he'll return to Syracuse now that his services are no longer required by the big club. The 28-year-old righty has given up seven earned runs in 12.1 innings with the Mets this season.

The Diamondbacks will recall Burgos from Triple-A Reno before Thursday's contest in St. Louis, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

He'll provide a fresh bullpen arm after the Diamondbacks' relievers were needed for six innings in Wednesday's win over the Cardinals. Burgos has struggled this season at Reno, collecting a 6.59 ERA and 19:13 K:BB over 28.2 innings.

The Diamondbacks will option Tawa to Triple-A Reno prior to Thursday's contest versus the Cardinals, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

His roster spot will be filled by Max Kepler, who is returning from an 80-game PED suspension. Tawa has had multiple stints with the Diamondbacks this season but has played sparingly, putting up a .536 OPS across 76 plate appearances.

The Cubs designated Zulueta for assignment Thursday.

The transaction clears space on the 40-man roster for the addition of David Peterson, who was acquired via trade. Zulueta was a trade acquisition himself earlier this month after having been booted from the Mariners' 40-man roster. He'll go through the waivers process again.

Arraez (foot) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Athletics.

Arraez will miss a second consecutive start after he had to depart Tuesday's game when he fouled a ball off the arch of his right foot. X-rays were clean, but Arraez remains sore. He's considered day-to-day. Casey Schmitt will cover second base again for the Giants in Thursday's series finale.
