Scott gathered his fourth win by shutting down Milwaukee in the top of the tenth and benefitting from a walk-off Josh Bell single in the bottom of the inning. The Marlins lefty has tossed seven consecutive scoreless outings, notching three wins, one save and one hold with a 9:5 K:BB over 7.1 innings. • Raymond Kerr RP | ATL

Braves' Ray Kerr: Returned to Triple-A

Kerr was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett after Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Padres.

Kerr had a shaky performance his last time out Sunday against the Padres, surrendering two runs on four hits while striking out four over 3.1 innings of work. He'll return to Triple-A following Monday's move, where he's posted a 4.50 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 22 strikeouts over 14 frames.

  • Ryan Weathers SP | NYY

Marlins' Ryan Weathers: Fans eight in no-decision

Weathers did not factor into the decision Monday against Milwaukee, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

Weathers generated 14 whiffs en route to his eight strikeouts, reaching that mark for the first time since punching out 10 on April 16 against San Francisco. The Miami lefty has thrown four consecutive quality starts, posting a 2.67 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB over 27 innings during that time. Weathers is currently slated to make his next start against Arizona on the road this weekend.

  • Brewers' Christian Yelich: Swipes two bags

Yelich went 0-for-3 with two walks, two steals and a run scored in Monday's loss to Miami.

Yelich stole his fifth and sixth bases of the season in the sixth inning. First, the Brewers outfielder stole second before catching starter Ryan Weathers off guard on a throw back from his catcher, taking the opportunity to swipe home. Overall, Yelich is slashing .321/.398/.564 in 89 plate appearances this season.

  • Trevor Megill RP | MIL

Brewers' Trevor Megill: Blows save against Miami

Megill blew the save in Monday's loss to the Marlins. He allowed one run on two hits and no walks over one inning while striking out one.

Megill gathered the first two outs of the ninth inning on three pitches before yielding a single to Nick Gordon. Gordon promptly stole second and then was subsequently driven home via an Otto Lopez single to tie the game. This is Megill's first blown save of the season, so he should maintain his role as the Milwaukee closer.

  • Joseph Ortiz SS | MIL

Brewers' Joey Ortiz: X-rays come back negative

X-rays on Ortiz's right foot came back negative following Monday's game against Miami, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

Ortiz appeared to be in good spirits following Monday's loss, and he stated that his foot was feeling good, per Leckie. The Brewers will re-evaluate Ortiz on Tuesday morning to determine his availability moving forward.

  • Joe Ross RP | TEX

Brewers' Joe Ross: Likely headed for IL

Ross (back) is expected to require a stint on the 15-day injured list, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Ross was forced out of his start Monday against the Marlins after his back tightened up, and he was later diagnosed with a low back strain. The club will likely wait to see how he responds Tuesday before making an official roster move. Milwaukee is already thin when it comes to starting pitching, so the team will once again be forced to turn to their farm system for help. Aaron Ashby and Tobias Myers are candidates to enter the rotation if it's confirmed that Ross requires a trip to the IL.

  • Joseph Ortiz SS | MIL

Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Headed for X-rays

Ortiz is getting X-rays on his right foot after being hit by a pitch in the fourth inning Monday against the Marlins, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Ortiz was able to finish out the game, but it was still bothering him in the clubhouse after the loss, and skipper Pat Murphy noted that the injury may be more serious than initially thought, per Paige Leckie of MLB.com. Andruw Monasterio put together a multi-hit evening and could be in line for more looks at the hot corner if Ortiz requires a trip to the injured list. Oliver Dunn is another option at third base, though it would require Milwaukee to elevate him from Triple-A Nashville.

  • Luis Garcia 1B | NYY

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Pops fourth homer

Garcia went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's victory over the Twins.

Garcia put Washington ahead with his 378-foot, two-run home run in the second inning off Minnesota starter Pablo Lopez. The 24-year-old second baseman entered the game in a cold spell in which he hit .091 (3-for-33) over his previous nine games while battling wrist and heel ailments. This performance may be a sign that Garcia is feeling healthy. He's batting .281 on the season in 145 plate appearances.

  • Eddie Rosario RF | MIL

Nationals' Eddie Rosario: Drives in three

Rosario went 2-for-5 with a stolen base, three RBI and a run scored in Monday's victory over Minnesota.

Rosario knocked two singles against his former club to collect his first three-RBI game with the Nationals. However, the highlight of the 32-year-old's evening came in the sixth inning when he was credited with a steal of home. The veteran outfielder has caught fire in May, hitting .333 (16-for-48) with five homers, 14 RBI and 13 runs scored. Nationals manager Dave Martinez has taken notice too, slotting Rosario at second or third in the order for seven of his last eight starts.
