Harrison Bader CF | SF
Mets' Harrison Bader: Getting break Sunday
Bader is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Arizona.
The 29-year-old outfielder will get a rest day and cede center-field duties to Tyrone Taylor as the Mets close out the series against the Diamondbacks. Bader has started seven of the last 10 games for New York, going 6-for-26 with four RBI and one home run in that stretch.

Kyle Higashioka C | TEX
Padres' Kyle Higashioka: Contributes homer Saturday
Higashioka went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday in a 7-3 victory versus the Royals.
Higashioka padded San Diego's lead in the ninth inning with a solo shot to left field. It was just his second homer this season after he belted exactly 10 long balls in each of the past three seasons while with the Yankees. Higashioka's playing time has fallen as a member of the Padres -- he has just 52 plate appearances so far this season. The backup catcher is slashing a paltry .157/.173/.314, though four of his eight hits have gone for extra bases.

Quinn Priester SP | MIL
Pirates' Quinn Priester: Called up for Sunday's start
Priester was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis and will start Sunday against the Blue Jays, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old will join Pittsburgh's rotation Sunday as the replacement for Martin Perez (groin), who landed on the injured list Tuesday. Priester has been decent in five starts for the Pirates this season with a 4.33 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB across 27 innings, and another solid outing Sunday could earn him a longer look in the rotation.

Alika Williams SS | ATH
Pirates' Alika Williams: Placed on IL
Pittsburgh placed Williams on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a right wrist sprain.
The Pirates recalled right-hander Quinn Priester from Triple-A Indianapolis to replace Williams on the active roster ahead of Priester's scheduled start Sunday in Toronto. Williams had largely served as a short-side platoon player in the infield for Pittsburgh following his call-up from Indianapolis on May 11.

Wandy Peralta RP | SD
Padres' Wandy Peralta: Notches eighth hold
Peralta earned a hold against the Royals on Saturday by retiring the only batter he faced.
Peralta was brought in with two outs and two on in the bottom of the eighth inning and got Freddy Fermin to line out to end the threat. He was credited with his eighth hold of the campaign, which leads San Diego. Peralta was touched up for four runs over one-third of an inning against Colorado on April 28 but still has a solid 2.66 ERA ERA this season. Over his past 13 outings, the lefty reliever has yielded just one run over 11.1 frames while posting a 10:4 K:BB.

Sixto Sanchez SP | MIA
Marlins' Sixto Sanchez: Out with shoulder inflammation
Sanchez was placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday with right shoulder inflammation, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander allowed two runs and threw just 53 pitches over four-plus innings Friday against the Rangers, and the injury may have played a role in the brevity of that outing. The severity of the injury is unclear, but Sanchez will be unavailable for at least the next couple weeks. The Marlins have three scheduled days off in the next nine days, so they won't immediately need to replace Sanchez in the rotation.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Diamondbacks' Joc Pederson: Taking seat against southpaw
Pederson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.
Pederson will end up hitting the bench for the final two games of the series while the Mets brought left-handed starters to the hill Saturday (Sean Manaea) and Sunday (Jose Quintana). With Pederson out of the lineup, Eugenio Suarez will get a day off in the field and will serve as Arizona's designated hitter.
-
Jake McCarthy LF | COL
Diamondbacks' Jake McCarthy: Resting against lefty
McCarthy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.
With southpaw Jose Quintana on the hill for the Mets, Arizona manager Torey Lovullo will give two of the team's key lefty-hitting regulars in McCarthy and Joc Pederson the day off. Randal Grichuk will check in for McCarthy in right field and will bat fifth.
-
Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Getting afternoon off
Moreno is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.
Moreno will get some rest for the series finale after he started at catcher each of the past three days while going 2-for-12 with a double and two runs scored. Tucker Barnhart will step in behind the dish Sunday.
-
Lourdes Gurriel LF | ARI
Diamondbacks' Lourdes Gurriel: Good to go Sunday
Gurriel (illness) will start in left field and bat third Sunday against the Mets.
The veteran outfielder was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to flu-like symptoms, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Queens. Gurriel had a rough time at the plate in May and finished the month with a .213/.245/.287 slash line in 25 games.
