Bryan De La Cruz RF | PHI
Marlins' Bryan De La Cruz: Blasts 15th home run
De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss against Philadelphia.
De La Cruz broke out of a mini slump after going 4-for-28 over his last seven games with a nice showing Sunday. His 15 home runs in 82 games this season are just four behind the career high he set last season in 153 games. While De La Cruz's slash line of .242/.289/.426 has room for improvement, there's no denying his raw potential to continue to add throughout the season.

Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Roughed up in loss
Hendricks (1-6) took the loss Sunday against the Brewers, surrendering seven earned runs on seven hits and one walk in 3.2 innings. He struck out three.
Hendricks kept the Brewers off the scoreboard over the first three innings before a disastrous fourth inning in which he gave up seven earned runs, including a grand slam to Brice Turang. The 34-year-old veteran was enjoying a renaissance in June, pitching to a 1.27 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and 16:4 K:BB across 21.1 innings before Sunday's disaster. The right-hander will have to go back to the drawing board to improve his ugly 7.48 ERA. His next start is tentatively scheduled for next weekend against the Angels.

Jeff Hoffman RP | MIN
Phillies' Jeff Hoffman: Earns sixth save
Hoffman struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the save Sunday vs. Miami.
Hoffman allowed a runner to reach on an error but was otherwise solid in picking up his sixth save. Jose Alvarado leads the Phillies with 12 saves this season, but Hoffman has gotten the occasional opportunity. No matter the role, Hoffman has proven to be one of the most reliable bullpen weapons for the Phillies this season, posting a 1.27 ERA and 0.93 WHIP.

Freddy Peralta SP | TB
Brewers' Freddy Peralta: Notches eight strikeouts in win
Peralta (6-4) picked up the win Sunday against the Cubs, allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven innings.
Peralta yielded a solo home run to Nico Hoerner in the opening frame, but the 28-year-old was locked in afterwards, yielding just one other hit to notch his seventh quality start of the season. The right-hander has shown an impressive ability to miss bats, registering an 11.6 K/9 that ranks in the 95th percentile. Despite the lofty strikeout totals, Peralta has been mildly disappointing this season, logging a pedestrian 3.83 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 94 innings. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend against the Dodgers.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Blasts 10th home run

Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in MLB. Kyle Freeland SP | COL
Rockies' Kyle Freeland: Quality start in no-decision
Freeland came away with a no-decision Sunday against the White Sox, allowing two earned runs on seven hits and two walks in 6.2 innings. He struck out three.
Freeland made his second start since coming off the 60-day injured list, throwing 80 pitches Sunday after throwing 69 his last time out. The 31-year-old has been sharp since returning despite the reduced workload, notching quality starts in both appearances en route to a 1.42 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP across 12.2 innings. The southpaw should be close to a full workload his next time out, tentatively scheduled for next weekend against the Royals.

A.J. Minter RP | MIN
Braves' A.J. Minter: Expected to be activated Tuesday
Atlanta is expected to activate Minter (hip) from the 15-day injured list Monday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
While making his third rehab appearance for Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, Minter tossed a scoreless inning. Assuming his left hip is feeling fine coming out of the minor-league outing, he should join Atlanta for the start of its three-game series versus the Giants. Daysbel Hernandez was optioned to Gwinnett following Atlanta's 4-2 loss to the Pirates on Sunday, creating an opening in the bullpen for Minter.
