Yamamoto (7-5) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Orioles.

This was the first time Yamamoto allowed multiple runs since he was tagged for five runs over 6.1 frames in a May 12 starts versus the Giants. He had given up just four runs over 35.2 innings across his previous five starts, but the Orioles were able to get to him in the second and fourth innings of this contest. Yamamoto is up to 11 quality starts in 14 outings this season, pitching to a 2.65 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 86:17 K:BB over 91.2 innings. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Padres.

Horwitz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday against the Rockies.

Horwitz led off the game with his 10th home run of the season and third in his last 11 starts. His current career-best homer total in a season is 12, which he set in 2024 across 381 plate appearances. Horwitz will almost certainly clear that mark, and he also should continue to pick up plenty of counting stats while serving as Pittsburgh's primary leadoff hitter. Across his last 11 games, he's managed 10 runs scored and seven RBI while going 12-for-42.

McCarthy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs in a 2-1 win against Pittsburgh on Saturday.

McCarthy's legs were largely responsible for both Rockies runs in the narrow victory. The speedster began Colorado's half of the first inning with a liner to the outfield, then sped around the bases as the ball was misplayed and ended up with an inside-the-park homer. Later, McCarthy bounced a ball through the infield and managed to reach second base for a double. He subsequently came home to score what proved to be the game-winning run on a TJ Rumfield single. McCarthy is enjoying a strong first season in Colorado, slashing .292/.335/.467 with five homers, 13 doubles, three triples, 26 runs, 28 RBI and 11 stolen bases through 62 contests. His .802 OPS is on pace for a career-best mark.

Skenes (6-7) took the loss against Colorado on Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over six innings.

Skenes had a frustrating beginning to his outing, as a Jake McCarthy liner to the outfield was poorly played by Pittsburgh's defense and ended up as an inside-the-park home run. Beyond that, Skenes gave up just one other run and racked up 19 whiffs along with eight punchouts, but he was saddled with the loss as a result of the Pirates' offense managing only one run in the Colorado altitude. Skenes is 0-5 over his past seven outings, but he has three quality starts and an impressive 51:11 K:BB across 38 innings during that span. The star hurler will look to get back into the win column the next time he takes the mound, which lines up to be a home matchup against Cincinnati.

Hill recorded a save against Pittsburgh on Saturday, striking out one batter over a scoreless two-thirds of an inning.

Hill entered with a tough task, as he was asked to protect a one-run lead with runners on the corners and one out in the ninth inning. The right-hander hit Nick Gonzales with a pitch to load the bases but then got Tyler Callihan to strike out before inducing a game-ending grounder. The final play was a bit chaotic -- Jake Mangum appeared to have tied the game with an infield single, but a baserunner interference call at third base wiped out the would-be hit and ended the contest. Still, Hill got the job done, and he's now registered each of the Rockies' past two saves. It would probably be premature to declare him Colorado's primary closer, but he certainly appears to be in the mix moving forward.

Sugano (8-4) completed six innings in a win against Pittsburgh on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and no walks while striking out five batters.

Sugano's outing got off to an ominous beginning when Spencer Horwitz tagged him for a leadoff homer in the first inning. However, that ended up being the only run the Japanese hurler allowed, and he finished his start by retiring the final 12 batters he faced. Sugano ultimately outdueled Paul Skenes to notch his fourth consecutive victory, though this was the first time during that streak that he notched a quality start. Sugano is now an impressive 8-4 for the last-place Rockies, but that hasn't made him an appealing fantasy asset. The right-hander's 4.31 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 46:22 K:BB through 79.1 innings have kept him on the waiver wire in most formats.

Machado went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and five RBI in Saturday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Rangers.

Machado matched a season high in RBI on Saturday, also tallying his 15th career game with at least five RBI. The 33-year-old third baseman is having a down year across the board in 2026, so we'll see if Saturday's effort jump starts his campaign. Through 306 plate appearances, Machado is slashing a weak .178/.256/.367 with 13 homers, 12 doubles, 41 RBI and 34 runs scored.

Turner went 2-for-5 with one RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 15-3 win over the Mets.

Turner set the tone for a rout by the Phillies, scoring three runs in a game for the first time this season. The shortstop may be turning a corner after going 5-for-10 over his past two full games, excluding Thursday's contest in which he left after getting hit by a pitch in his only plate appearance. On the year, he's slashing .226/.278/.336 with seven homers, 22 RBI, 46 runs scored and 15 steals across 324 plate appearances.

Miller secured the save Saturday against the Rangers, allowing one unearned run on one hit and no walks in the 10th inning. He struck out two.

Miller allowed the automatic runner in extra innings to score, but he held on for the save Saturday and hasn't given up an earned run in his past five outings. The right-hander continues to put together a spectacular campaign, producing a 0.87 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 61:12 K:BB over 31 frames. Miller is a flawless 20-for-20 on save opportunities, leading the National League in the category.

Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Blue Jays.

The sixth-inning long ball off Lazaro Estrada was Crow-Armstrong's 16th of the season, and his fifth in the last seven contests as part of a 10-game hitting streak. During that heater, the 24-year-old center fielder is batting a sizzling .476 (20-for-42) with 11 total extra-base hits, four steals, eight RBI and 10 runs.
