  • Mets' Starling Marte: Sitting Tuesday

Marte is out of the Mets' lineup Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.

  • Diamondbacks' Adrian Del Castillo: Idle versus lefty

Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Del Castillo will take a seat Tuesday with left-hander Sean Manaea out on the mound for the Mets. Jose Herrera has the start behind the dish Tuesday for Arizona, batting ninth.

Diamondbacks' Joc Pederson: Sitting against lefty

Pederson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

  • Brewers' Christian Yelich: Out three months after back surgery

Yelich is expected to need three months of recovery time following a microdiscectomy, Jack Stern of Brewer Fanatic reports.

A microdiscectomy is a spine surgery which removes part or all of a bulging or herniated disc in the lower back. It's an injury Yelich has dealt with off and on for several years, and the hope is that he'll be able to put his back issues behind him after this. He is expected to be ready to roll for the start of spring training.
