Norby (undisclosed) was scratched from Tuesday's lineup in Pittsburgh.

Norby had been slated to play third base and bat second, but he's been scratched for an unspecified reason. The Marlins should offer more on his status soon. David Hensley will enter the lineup at first base, while Jake Burger will shift across the diamond to third base.

Turnbull (lat) will throw a live batting practice session Friday, Destiny Lugardo of Phillies Nation reports.

Turnbull threw an up-and-down bullpen session Monday, clearing the way for him to face hitters for the first time since he was diagnosed with a right lat strain in late June. The Phillies aren't giving up hope that Turnbull could make it back later this month as a reliever, but he can't afford any hiccups.

Kelenic is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Kelenic went 3-for-12 with a homer and two walks while starting the previous four games, but he'll take a seat Tuesday as southpaw MacKenzie Gore pitches for Washington. Ramon Laureano will man left field and bat fifth.

Merrifield (foot) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

It's hardly a surprise that Merrifield is on the bench for a fourth straight game, as he said Saturday after suffering a foot fracture that he's hopeful to return for the three-game series versus the Dodgers that begins Friday. Luke Williams will receive another start at second base Tuesday for Atlanta.

India (elbow) is starting at second base and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Cardinals.

The 27-year-old sat out of Monday's matchup with Atlanta after he exited Sunday's contest due to left elbow discomfort, but his absence will be limited to one game. India is looking to bust out of a mini-slump, as he's gone 0-for-13 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch and five strikeouts in his past four contests.

Del Castillo is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Del Castillo has now started just two of the last six contests for the Diamondbacks. They've faced three lefties over that stretch, but the left-handed hitting Del Castillo has also been out of the lineup twice versus righties, including on Tuesday against Nathan Eovaldi. Jose Herrera will catch and bat ninth for Arizona.

Marte is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Toronto.

The Mets continue to give Marte regular days off, as he's been out of the lineup for one game of each series since he returned from the injured list last month. DJ Stewart will play right field and bat seventh Tuesday.

The Marlins designated de Geus for assignment Tuesday.

The 26-year-old was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville in late August and has now lost his place on the 40-man roster. De Geus has made 11 appearances between the Marlins and Mariners this season and has given up five earned runs with a 6:2 K:BB over nine innings.

Winn is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.

Winn had started every game since Aug. 12 but will receive a day of rest in the series opener. Thomas Saggese will play shortstop in Winn's place and bat seventh in his major-league debut.

Donovan (foot) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's contest against the Reds.

Donovan was unavailable for the last two games while battling an infection in his foot, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in the series opener versus Cincinnati. It's the first time in exactly one month that Donovan has batted leadoff, as Masyn Winn is receiving a day off.
