Peguero was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.

Peguero has pitched nearly the entire season at the big-league level and maintained a solid 2.98 ERA across 51.1 frames. However, his 4.7 BB/9 has led to an inflated 1.54 WHIP. He'll head to the minors, though he would be a candidate to return to the majors if the Brewers require depth out of the bullpen later in the month.

Paredes (forearm) was reinstated from the injured list Thursday.

Paredes has been sidelined since July 2 with a forearm issue. Prior to the injury, he was excellent out of the Brewers bullpen, maintaining a 1.08 ERA and 1.02 WHIP across 16.2 innings, albeit with a more mediocre 12:8 K:BB. Paredes will likely pitch low-leverage roles initially, though he may have the chance to pick up some holds as he gets back into form.

Cecconi was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Thursday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Cecconi was recalled Sept. 1 and allowed seven earned runs over 3.2 innings while in the majors. Cecconi has bounced between Reno and Arizona several times this season, so it's possible that he could return to the big leagues in the final days of the regular season.

The Diamondbacks recalled Diaz from Triple-A Reno on Thursday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Diaz had four starts for the Diamondbacks in July, and he notched a quality start in the first two. In the third game he surrendered seven earned runs across three innings, but he bounced back in his final outing July 28 by allowing just one hit in five scoreless frames before returning to Triple-A. The right-hander worked out of the bullpen in his last two outings with Reno and should serve as a long reliever while up with the big club.

Bauers is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.

Bauers is getting his second consecutive day off after Gary Sanchez started as the designated hitter Wednesday. Sanchez has the start again Thursday as the designated hitter, batting fifth.

Conforto isn't in the Giants' lineup Thursday versus Milwaukee, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Conforto has gone 5-for-19 with a home run and three runs scored across his last five games, but he'll sit down for a second consecutive contest Thursday. His absence will allow Jerar Encarnacion to serve as San Francisco's designated hitter and bat sixth.

Bailey isn't in San Francisco's lineup for Thursday's game versus the Brewers, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bailey will catch a breather after going 3-for-4 with a run scored during Wednesday's blowout victory. Curt Casali will catch instead for right-hander Hayden Birdsong and bat eighth.

Perkins in not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.

Perkins's last day off was Sept. 2, which had been his only day off for the month until Thursday. Garrett Mitchell has the start in center field, batting second while Sal Frelick enters in right field.

Junis didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on three hits over five innings. He struck out three.

Masyn Winn's home run in the third inning was the lone mark on Junis' line Thursday. The right-hander's been excellent in his last two starts with Cincinnati, allowing just one run on four hits over 10 innings, though he's ultimately come away with no-decisions in both outings. Overall, Junis is 4-0 on the season with a 2.73 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 42:7 K:BB across 56 innings between the Reds and Brewers. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with Atlanta next week.

Romero earned the save in Thursday's 6-1 win over Cincinnati, allowing two hits over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Romero recorded the final out in the eighth inning, preserving a 3-1 Cardinals lead, before St. Louis added a couple of insurance runs in the bottom half of the frame. Romero would come back out in the ninth, sealing the win to earn his first save this season. While the left-hander won't overtake Ryan Helsley for the closing job, he's been reliable in a setup role this season and has held opponents to just one run in his last six appearances (five innings). Romero now sports a 2.65 ERA through 57.2 innings this year with a 1.08 WHIP and 51:14 K:BB.
