Hill is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Mets.

Hill was hit by a pitch in Monday's game, but he remained in that contest, so it would appear this is just a routine day off. Dane Myers will draw the start in center field for the Marlins.

The Phillies claimed de Geus off waivers from the Marlins on Tuesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

De Geus will join his fourth organization since January after landing with the Phillies. The right-handed reliever has been assigned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, where he will give the Phillies some bullpen depth.

Diaz (hamstring) threw a live batting practice session Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Diaz continues to work on his mechanics after they were thrown off following a hamstring injury. The reliever is eligible for activation from the 15-day injured list April 8, but there has not been an established timetable for his return yet. Reds manager Terry Francona has indicated he would like Diaz to get his closer job back when he's healthy and his mechanics are in order. Emilio Pagan has recorded the Reds' lone save so far, while Ian Gibaut has a blown save.

Ramos went 1-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 7-2 win over the Astros.

The 25-year-old reached first on a fielder's choice in the second inning, and he stole second base before scoring on an RBI single from Wilmer Flores. Ramos later cracked a double to the left-field wall in the eighth frame, marking his fourth straight game with an extra-base hit to start the season. The 25-year-old is the first Giant to achieve that feat since Barry Bonds in 2002. Ramos has gotten off to a strong start at the plate this season, slashing .294/.294/.765 with four RBI, two home runs, two doubles and a stolen base across 17 plate appearances. He also holds the club's second-highest batting average behind Mike Yastrzemski (.444 in nine at-bats) thus far.

Siri will start in center field and bat ninth in Tuesday's game versus the Marlins.

It was Tyrone Taylor in center field for the Mets in the first two games of the season, but Siri has been in center for each of the three contests since then. The two players are likely to continue to share the center-field job for the foreseeable future.

Baty is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

The lefty-hitting Baty started the past three games after sitting against a southpaw starter Opening Day, and he'll head to the bench Tuesday after going 1-for-9 with a double and three strikeouts to begin the campaign. Luisangel Acuna will man the keystone and bat eighth against Miami righty Sandy Alcantara.

Lindor (personal) will play shortstop and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game versus the Marlins.

Lindor didn't play in Monday's win over the Marlins following the birth of his third child, but he's back at the top of the batting order for the second game of the series. The reigning National League MVP runner-up is still looking for his first hit this season.

Gurriel is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Yankees.

It's the first day off this season for Gurriel. Jake McCarthy will slide over to left field while Alek Thomas gets a start in center.

Trevino is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Austin Wynns will do the catching while Trevino gets some rest. Trevino has started three of the first five tilts this season, going 2-for-9 at the plate.

Steer is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rangers.

Steer has now started three of the first five games this season, as the Reds don't want to overload him as he comes back from his right shoulder injury. All three of Steer's starts have been at designated hitter, and it's not clear when he might be ready to play the field. Gavin Lux is at DH on Tuesday while Blake Dunn covers left field.
