Stowers went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Mets.

The 27-year-old outfielder took Kodai Senga deep in the first inning, giving Stowers his first long ball of the season. After a shaky spring at the plate, Stowers has had a productive first week of the regular season, batting .313 (5-for-16) with four RBI and a steal while starting four of Miami's first six games.

Suwinski will start in right field and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Rays.

After handling a bench role in the first two games of the season, Suwinski will now pick up his fifth straight start. The uptick in playing time has come at the expense of Andrew McCutchen, who will take a seat for the third straight game. Suwinski has gone 2-for-15 with six strikeouts thus far, but he's salvaged some value with a pair of stolen bases.

McCutchen remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

For the third game in a row, McCutchen finds himself out of the lineup. The Pirates haven't indicated that McCutchen is dealing with an injury, and the 38-year-old came off the bench in Tuesday's 7-0 loss to Tampa Bay and recorded a base hit in a ninth-inning pinch-hitting appearance. Rather than because of his own health, McCutchen's recent absences seem to be a byproduct of Bryan Reynolds dealing with right tricep soreness, according to Brian Murphy of MLB.com. Reynolds has still been able to take at-bats without discomfort while he manages the injury, so he'll remain in the lineup at designated hitter for the third straight game while Jack Suwinski fills in for him in right field. Once Reynolds is ready to play the outfield again, McCutchen could be prioritized over Suwinski.

Abbott (shoulder) allowed two earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over 5.2 innings in his first rehab start with Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.

The lefty got his pitch count up to 85 and will make another rehab start Sunday, according to Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News. If all goes well during Sunday's outing, Abbott could be on track to return from the 15-day injured list and rejoin the Reds rotation late next week.

Reds manager Terry Francona said Wednesday that Diaz (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Dayton on Friday, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

The reliever is set to make appearances for Dayton on Friday and Sunday, which could set him up to be activated from the 15-day injured list when first eligible April 8, assuming all goes well. Diaz is coming back from a left hamstring strain which threw off his mechanics, but he and the Reds were pleased with how a live batting practice session went Tuesday, clearing the way for rehab games. Francona has indicated that he would like to use Diaz as his closer, although it might not happen right away upon the righty's return.

Bart is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Bart will take a seat as the Pirates and Rays wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. Endy Rodriguez will receive a turn behind the plate Wednesday.

Haase went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Royals.

With William Contreras serving as the Brewers' designated hitter, Haase picked up his first start of the season behind the dish. Haase provided some pop at the bottom of the order, putting Milwaukee on the board with a 419-foot blast off Michael Lorenzen in the third inning. Despite playing a big part in the leading the Brewers to their first win of 2025, Haase will likely see scant playing time during his second season in Milwaukee with Contreras coming off an All-Star campaign.

Dunn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Dunn has started in just two of the Brewers' first six games, but all four of his absences from the lineup have come against left-handed pitching. He appears to be in a strict platoon at third base with Vinny Capra, who will get another start Wednesday but should see his playing time fade once the Brewers face more right-handers.

Collins is starting at designated hitter and batting third in Wednesday's game versus the Royals.

It's the first start this season for Collins, who is 3-for-6 off the bench. He and his teammates face a tall task in going up against left-hander Cole Ragans in the series finale.

Yelich is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Yelich cranked his first home run of the season Tuesday, but he will receive his first day off for Wednesday's afternoon contest. Isaac Collins is at designated hitter and batting third for Milwaukee.
