McMahon is not in Colorado's starting lineup against Cincinnati on Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

McMahon has failed to record a hit over his last seven games and has gone 2-for-50 with a 41.7 percent strikeout rate since April 11. Amid his struggles, McMahon will begin Sunday's contest in the dugout while Kyle Farmer starts at the hot corner and bats fifth against Reds left-hander Nick Lodolo.

Martini is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Reds on Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Southpaw Nick Lodolo will take to the hill for the Reds on Sunday, so Martini will begin the contest in the dugout while Sean Bouchard starts in right field and bats sixth. Martini is in the midst of a mini-slump, having gone 0-for-14 with one run scored and one RBI over his last six games.

Fitzgerald (chest) is not in the Giants' starting lineup against the Rangers on Sunday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Fitzgerald is dealing with a chest contusion, which caused him to be scratched from Saturday's game against Texas. With the Giants scheduled for a day off Monday, Fitzgerald will head into Tuesday's game against the Padres with a few straight days of rest. Christian Koss will start at second base and bat ninth against Rangers right-hander Jack Leiter (finger) on Sunday.

The Marlins optioned Gillispie to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Gillespie gave up seven runs in just two innings during Saturday's loss to the Mariners. He's posted a 14.25 ERA and 2.25 WHIP in 12 innings over his last three starts, and he will move to Triple-A to work on his control. Miami recalled Luarbert Arias from Jacksonville in a corresponding move.

The Marlins recalled Arias from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

The move corresponds with Connor Gillispie being optioned to Jacksonville. Arias has an 11.37 ERA and 2.05 WHIP in 6.1 major-league innings, but he's not allowed a run in three of his four outings in the minors this season. He'll give the Marlins another right-handed option out of the bullpen.

Horwitz (wrist) will embark on a rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona on Sunday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Horwitz underwent surgery in February to repair an extensor tendon in his right thumb that was causing pain in his wrist, but he's finally ready for game action. Horwitz appeared in 97 games for the Blue Jays in 2024, slashing .265/.357/.433 with 12 home runs and 40 RBI in 381 plate appearances.

Soroka (biceps) will make a rehab start for Double-A Harrisburg on Sunday, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

Soroka worked 2.2 innings in his first rehab start Tuesday, and the goal Sunday is for the 27-year-old right-hander to pitch at least five innings. Soroka is in the final stages of his recovery from a right biceps strain that caused him to be placed on the 15-day injured list April 4.

The Rockies optioned Hill to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

The move makes room on the 26-man roster for Bradley Blalock, who will start against the Reds on Sunday. Hill has made three appearances out of the Rockies bullpen this season, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five across 2.2 innings. The 25-year-old should return to the majors at some point this season.

The Rockies optioned Fulford to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Fulford was recalled Saturday when Aaron Schunk (groin) was placed on the IL, but he'll return to Triple-A after the Rockies selected Alan Trejo's contract from Albuquerque. Fulford has a 1.345 OPS across 44 plate appearances in Triple-A and could return to the majors if Hunter Goodman or Jacob Stallings are unavailable.

Feltner won't make his next scheduled start Sunday against the Reds while he tends to a back issue, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

After turning in a seven-inning start against the Royals on Tuesday, Feltner said that he felt his back tighten up in the weight room two days later. The Rockies don't anticipate Feltner missing extensive time, as he could be ready to start as soon as Monday's series opener versus Atlanta in Colorado. Bradley Blalock was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque and will start Sunday.
