Friedl went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over Pittsburgh.

Friedl laced a double in the third inning and came in to score on a two-run single. He later reached on a forceout and scored a second run. He's hit safely and scored at least a run in four consecutive games. Not surprisingly, Cincinnati's leadoff hitter tops the club with 11 runs.

Marte started at third base and went 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Pirates.

Marte walked and recorded his first steal of the season in the fifth inning before coming home to score on a force-out. He made a second consecutive start, as Jeimer Candelario was needed at first base with Christian Encarnacion-Strand nursing back and hamstring injuries.

Sale (0-2) took the loss against the Rays on Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks with seven strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Sale threw 63 of 98 pitches for strikes and limited hard contact, but he failed to complete the fifth inning for a second straight start. The veteran southpaw has yet to go beyond five innings in any of his four outings this season, yielding at least three earned runs in each of the them. As a result, he'll carry a 6.63 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 24:4 K:BB across 19 innings into a home matchup with the Twins next weekend.

Feltner (illness) is listed as the Rockies' probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Feltner battled the flu during his most recent start in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Brewers, but he pitched effectively while under the weather, limiting Milwaukee to one earned run on three hits and two walks over six innings. His condition has apparently taken a turn for the better over the weekend, so Feltner looks like he'll be ready to go for his next turn through the rotation on his normal four days' rest.

Martinez struck out two over one inning to earn a hold in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Brewers.

Arizona led 3-2 when the right-handed Martinez opened the eighth inning against three scheduled righty hitters. He retired the side in order, including a lefty pinch hitter. That held the lead for lefty A.J. Puk heading into the ninth, when the Brewers had lefties scheduled. The late-game bullpen deployment is working without manager Torey Lovullo having to name one closer. Martinez has yet to allow a run or a walk while striking out nine over 5.2 innings.

Webb (2-0) earned the win against the Yankees on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Webb yielded three runs over the first two innings but battled to hold the Yankees scoreless over his final three frames. He generated 12 whiffs on 97 pitches but also found the strike zone on just 57 of them, tallying a season-high four walks. On the year, the 28-year-old has posted a strong 2.63 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB across 24 innings. He's slated for a road matchup with the Angels next weekend.

Thomas entered Sunday's game as a defensive replacement and went 1-for-1 with two RBI and a stolen base in a 5-2 win over Milwaukee.

Thomas' two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Diamondbacks insurance. He's been an effective hitter early on with 10 RBI through 11 games. Thomas' career high in RBI is 39, which he accomplished in 2022 (113 games) and 2023 (125 games).

Walker earned the save in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Yankees, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Walker was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth inning and delivered a clean inning to record his fourth save in as many chances. The 29-year-old has been rock-solid to open the season, posting a 1.29 ERA, 0.57 WHIP and 6:1 K:BB across seven innings.

Naylor went 2-for-5 with a steal, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-2 victory over the Brewers.

The Diamondbacks' slugger stole second base off reliever Grant Anderson in the seventh inning. Naylor has never been known for his speed, but thanks to a torrid start, he seems like a lock to overtake his previous career high of 10 steals with the Guardians in 2023. The 27-year-old has been enjoying his new home in Arizona, opening with a .322/.397/.475 slash line across 68 plate appearances.

Lee went 2-for-3 with two home runs, a walk and four RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.

Lee took Carlos Rodon deep twice, including a three-run shot that gave the Giants a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning. The 26-year-old is off to scorching start at the plate, collecting at least one hit in 12 of 14 games with five multi-hit performances. On the season, he's slashing an eye-popping .352/.426/.704 with three long balls, 11 RBI, 16 runs scored and three steals across 61 plate appearances.
