The Dodgers plan to recall Kim from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

After signing a three-year deal with the Dodgers in the offseason, Kim was sent to Triple-A at the beginning of the year to work on his swing. Through 129 plate appearances, the 26-year-old has slashed .252/.328/.470 with five homers, 19 RBI and 22 runs scored while swiping 13 bags in 28 games. A corresponding move for Kim's promotion hasn't been announced yet, though it may signal a move to the injured list for Tommy Edman (ankle).

Tatis (forearm) is starting in right field and batting leadoff Saturday against Pittsburgh.

Tatis was lifted from Friday's game in the third inning after being hit by a pitch in the left forearm. The star right fielder underwent X-rays that returned negative, and the issue isn't going to cause him to miss any additional time. Tatis and the Padres will face off against Pirates lefty Bailey Falter in the second contest of the three-game set.

Fedde's start against the Mets on Saturday won't take place, as the game has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Fedde was scheduled to face off against Mets hurler Tylor Megill on Saturday, but the contest has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader Sunday. Fedde has been tabbed to start Game 1 of the twin bill, per Tim Healey of Newsday.

Lopez (ankle) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

Lopez made an early exit from Friday's game after twisting his right ankle, and he'll take a day off Saturday to recover. Javier Sanoja will fill in for him at second base and bat ninth.

Megill's scheduled start against St. Louis on Saturday won't take place because the game has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Saturday's matchup has been rescheduled for Sunday, when the teams will play a split doubleheader. The righty is slated to pitch in Game 2 of Sunday's twin bill, per Tim Healey of Newsday, and he'll look to notch a second straight quality start.

The Padres recalled Campusano from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.

Campusano has performed well with El Paso this season, slashing .322/.445/.598 with six home runs, 17 RBI and 21 runs over 110 plate appearances. He struggled in the majors last year, posting a .642 OPS over 299 plate appearances, but was much better in 2023, when he slashed .319/.356/.491 with seven long balls in 49 games. Campusano may not get much playing time behind the plate with the Padres given his defensive liabilities and since the team already has two other catchers -- veterans Elias Diaz and Martin Maldonado -- but he may also get an occasional turn at DH. To make room for Campusano on the roster, San Diego optioned Connor Joe to El Paso.

The Padres are optioning Joe to Triple-A El Paso, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Joe joined the big-league squad after being called up from El Paso on April 14, but he's played sporadically since then, logging just 10 plate appearances while serving mostly as a pinch hitter. The versatile veteran went 0-for-9 with one walk and six strikeouts while with San Diego. Per Acee, Luis Campusano is with the Padres in Pittsburgh, and it's likely he'll take Joe's spot on the roster.

The Phillies optioned Stevenson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Stevenson was promoted from Triple-A on April 20 when Brandon Marsh (hamstring) landed on the injured list and will now head back to the minors following the latter's return. During his time in the big leagues, Stevenson appeared in five games, going 2-for-8 with an RBI. He'd be the likely choice to return to the majors if the Phillies' outfield depth is tested again later in the year.

The Phillies reinstated Marsh (hamstring) from the injured list Saturday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

A strained right hamstring has kept Marsh on the injured list since April 20. He began a minor-league rehab assignment four days later, but his time in the minors was extended slightly after he left a game early with a cramp in the same hamstring. Now, after going 6-for-20 with a homer, six RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases in six rehab games, Marsh will return to Philadelphia and presumably reclaim his usual role in center field. Cal Stevenson was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Friday's 4-0 win over the Rockies.

Chapman launched a 418-foot homer to left field off right-hander Antonio Senzatela in the third inning, accounting for San Francisco's final run of the game. The 32-year-old third baseman has recorded six home runs this season, ranking second on the Giants behind Wilmer Flores. However, Chapman has struggled to make consistent contact recently, slashing .139/.225/.333 with two home runs, a double and a 35.0 percent strikeout rate across 40 plate appearances over his last 10 games.
