Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Homers for lone run in win

Dodgers' Roki Sasaki: Strikes out 10 in no-decision
Sasaki allowed two hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven shutout innings in a no-decision Friday versus the Angels.
Sasaki had his best start of the season, but a rare quiet showing from the Dodgers' bats kept him from earning the win. He's been on a roll lately, allowing just five runs (four earned) with a 29:5 K:BB over 24.1 innings across his last four starts. Overall, Sasaki is at a 4.03 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 60:21 K:BB through 58 innings over 11 starts. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the White Sox.

The 24-year-old hit .322 with an .873 OPS, three home runs, 39 RBI, 37 runs scored, 16 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 56 games prior to his call-up. Aramis Garcia C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Aramis Garcia: Provides lone run in loss
Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 14-1 loss to the Nationals.
Garcia went deep in the third inning, but that was all the scoring the Diamondbacks could muster. He has seen limited playing time since he was called up from Triple-A Reno on May 19, going 2-for-14 over four games during this stint in the big leagues. He's batting .176 with one homer, two RBI and two runs scored over 17 plate appearances in the majors this season.

Merrill Kelly SP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Merrill Kelly: Hit hard in loss
Kelly (5-4) allowed seven runs on six hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out four over five innings to take the loss versus the Nationals on Friday.
Kelly had a strong May, but his first start in June was a dud. He allowed three home runs, which accounted for four of the seven runs on his line in his first loss since May 3 versus the Cubs. Kelly is now at a 5.71 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 37:25 K:BB through 58.1 innings over 10 starts this season. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Marlins.

The infielder is batting .263 with a .745 OPS, 37 RBI, 23 runs scored, 10 doubles, three triples and two stolen bases over 58 contests. Garcia has done pretty well of late, going 12-for-40 (.300) with four homers and 15 RBI over his last 11 games.

Foster Griffin SP | WAS
Nationals' Foster Griffin: Sharp for five innings in win
Griffin (7-2) allowed one run on two hits and no walks while striking out four over five innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

For the season, the southpaw has a serviceable 3.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 69:21 K:BB across 72 innings through 13 starts. His next start is slated to be a favorable road matchup in San Francisco.
