The Marlins acquired Santana, Brayden Taylor and Jacob Kisting from the Rays on Monday in exchange for Liam Hicks, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
The 21-year-old Santana has hit .316/.381/.400 with three home runs, 23 stolen bases and a 19:23 BB:K over 51 contests with High-A Bowling Green this season. Santana was a first-round pick in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft and has been used mainly at shortstop in pro ball, though he's also gotten some work at second base.
