Robbie Ray SP | SD
Giants' Robbie Ray: Overcomes shaky first inning
Ray (6-0) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out nine over six innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Ray gave up all three runs in the first inning. While he didn't completely shut things down after that, he kept Arizona at bay, allowing the Giants to build an insurmountable lead. This was Ray's fourth straight quality start as well as his third consecutive win. The southpaw is now at a 3.04 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 55:26 K:BB across 50.1 innings over nine starts. After two campaigns riddled by injuries (Tommy John surgery and a hamstring injury), Ray is healthy and pitching effectively, despite a troublesome 4.6 BB/9. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Royals.

Fernando Tatis Jr. RF | SD
Padres' Fernando Tatis: Walk-off blast Tuesday
Tatis went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Angels.
Tatis is seeing the ball well, lifting three homers over the last four contests. His hitting streak is up to seven games, a span in which he has gone 9-for-29 (.310) with four extra-base hits and eight RBI. He's maintained a strong performance all season, slashing .316/.389/.574 with 11 homers, 26 RBI, 36 runs scored, eight stolen bases, five doubles and a triple over 40 games.

Dylan Cease SP | TOR
Padres' Dylan Cease: Strikes out 10 in no-decision
Cease allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out 10 over 6.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Tuesday.
Cease pitched well, but he was charged with a second run after leaving the game when Jeremiah Estrada couldn't keep the Angels at bay in the seventh inning. This was the second start in a row where Cease has set a season high in strikeouts, and he also pitched into the seventh inning for the third time this season. He's at a 4.60 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 58:18 K:BB across 47 innings through nine starts. A nine-run dud against the Athletics on April 8 continues to skew his overall numbers -- he's yet to allow more than three runs in any other start. He's projected to make his next start on the road at Toronto.

TJ Friedl CF | CIN
Reds' TJ Friedl: Fighting wrist soreness
Friedl exited Tuesday's game against the White Sox early due to right wrist soreness, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Friedl's wrist hit the ground hard after he collided with Elly De La Cruz in the outfield during the fourth inning, leading to Friedl's eventual removal in the fifth. X-rays on his wrist came back negative after the game, so he doesn't seem to be dealing with anything too serious. However, the Reds may elect to sit him down for a day or two, especially since the 29-year-old had also been hit in the left forearm by a pitch earlier in the game.

Chris Flexen RP | CHC
Cubs' Chris Flexen: Earns first win of 2025
Flexen (1-0) worked around a hit and a walk to toss two scoreless innings of relief and earn the win in Tuesday's 5-4 victory over the Marlins. He struck out one.
Making his fourth appearance in the majors this season, Flexen picked up his first win. After working as a starter in recent years, the veteran has transitioned to the bullpen in 2025, and he's off to a good start for the Cubs. Flexen has yet to allow a run across seven innings of work and he's struck out six. The righty has also covered multiple innings on two occasions, giving Chicago some valuable length in relief.

Jordan Beck LF | COL
Rockies' Jordan Beck: Provides only offense in loss
Beck went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Texas.
It was Beck's fifth stolen base of the year and his first since April 25. The 24-year-old outfielder has at least one hit in 17 of his last 20 games, batting .303 with six home runs, nine RBI and 16 runs scored over 76 at-bats in that span. Beck has settled in as Colorado's primary left fielder in 2025.

Pete Crow-Armstrong CF | CHC
Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Productive from leadoff spot
Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Marlins.
Crow-Armstrong has moved up to the top of the order recently with Ian Happ (oblique) out, and the former has continued to deliver. The youngster is in the midst of a breakout campaign with 11 home runs and 13 stolen bases, both of which lead the team. Crow-Armstrong's combination of power and speed makes him a very useful fantasy asset.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | LAD
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: Begins rehab assignment Tuesday
Fitzgerald (rib) started at second base and went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Triple-A Sacramento's 5-3 win over Salt Lake on Tuesday.
Fitzgerald began his rehab assignment with Sacramento after being placed on the 10-day IL on May 1 due to a left rib fracture. The 27-year-old infielder hit leadoff and singled in the first inning before coming around to score. Barring any setbacks during his rehab assignment, Fitzgerald could return to the Giants later this week. He has played in 25 games in the majors this season, slashing .284/.341/.432 with 14 runs scored, seven RBI and five stolen bases across 90 plate appearances.

Casey Schmitt LF | SF
Giants' Casey Schmitt: Singles in rehab game
Schmitt (oblique) started at first base and went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Triple-A Sacramento's 5-3 win over Salt Lake on Tuesday.
Schmitt began his rehab assignment with Sacramento after being officially placed on the 10-day IL on April 19 due to a Grade 2 left oblique strain. The 26-year-old infielder singled in the first inning before coming around to score. Schmitt has made eight appearances in the majors this season, slashing .174/.208/.261 with two RBI and one run scored across 23 plate appearances.

Kyle Freeland SP | COL
Rockies' Kyle Freeland: Still winless despite quality start
Freeland (0-6) took the loss Tuesday against the Rangers after allowing three runs on six hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out five.
It was the fourth quality start of the year for Freeland, whose six hits allowed were his fewest in a road outing since his first appearance of 2025. Although the left-hander has a poor 6.15 ERA and 1.59 WHIP on the season, he owns a respectable 4.25 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 22:5 K:BB over 29.2 innings on the road. With his next appearance set to come at home next week versus the Phillies, however, Freeland won't be a recommended fantasy option at hitter-friendly Coors Field.
